Scott Living 12" Hybrid Twin XL Mattress by Restonic is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not for bigger people When you buy a new mattress, you have to give it time before reviewing. I get so annoyed at all the jubilant reviews that were probably written the first night or two and it makes for a less accurate assessment when deciding whether to buy. For the record, I also thought the mattress was comfortable the first night and was excited, but 30 nights later and I’m miserable. Just like anything new, it will wear down after a few days. At 250 lbs, it’s hard to find the right balance of soft and firm for me. As of this review, I have seriously softened this mattress. It doesn’t dip per se, but it’s definitely softer. The coils are more compressed than when new and I sink quite a bit more. Like another big guy wrote, it’s like sleeping in a hammock. That’s so bad for the lower back. I get no support in the waste and hips at all and my spine is not aligned. On a positive note, the hybrid design does help relieve pressure points in the shoulders, but without support where I need it most, so that positive is cancelled out. I hurt in new places now, especially the lower back. If you’re a lighter adult, less than 200 lbs, maybe you’ll like. But trust the larger people’s reviews. This mattress offers very little support for the back. If I had to put a firmness number on it after 30 days, I’d call it a 4 1/2 out of 10. Too soft for me. It does inflate evenly to 11.5 to 12 inches so that’s good I guess.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice mattress Shipped quickly. Bought for my 6 ft 2 in son. He says the mattress is comfortable. We put it on top his box springs. Twin XL and he has no issues with length. So easy to manage in the shipping box.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Good mattress BUT Overall this mattress is very good value at this price point. It is also a very good mattress. It is not a light mattress but it's packing makes it easier to transport around the house. We are probably talking about 70-90 lbs. In terms of firmness it is a medium firm mattress with a very confortable memory foam. I did not detect any volatile odors from this mattress. The only negative thing that I can say is that the springs around the periphery of the mattress are a little stiffer to prevent the edges from collapsing too much and thus preventing the person from sliding-out. This also means that as you get closer to the edge you are pushed towards the middle of the mattress. I prefer a mattress that is consistent throughout the entire area and not one that has edges that are of a different feel. It's a trade-off. Perhaps modifying the construction with smaller springs and more numerous would change the feeling towards the edge. This may not be a problem the larger the mattress is, since you have more space to move. I had no problem sleeping on my belly face down at 190 lbs, so it should be confortable for anybody. I do recommend this mattress. They did send the wrong size mattress and I had to return it and get another but it was a delay of 1 week. Good service

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for Elderly Using Hospital Bed We recently got a hospital bed for my 90 year old mom. She has back issues and other complications associated with age. She loved the adjustable features of her hospital bed but was disappointed because of the lack of comfort due to the mattress. We got her the Scott mattress. Since sleeping on the Scott mattress she has slept better and wakes up with no pain. For her the Scott mattress has improved her quality of life and her quality of sleep. She says "thank you Scott Brothers for helping a fragile old lady"
