Rough leather inside
I love the look of these sandals and really wanted to keep them, but they are going back tomorrow. I bought the pewter color and it's very vintage-looking, which I like. They aren't lined, though, and the leather inside is rough -- walked less than two blocks and had blisters around my ankles and across my big toes. I usually buy Dansko and was excited to see this brand had similar chunky platforms heels, but this pair is a no-go for me. So sad to return them...

Well as the saying goes...i wanted to love these...sniff
I put them on prior to going out just to see how they felt. Twenty minutes into them and just minutes from walking out the door, a strap broke ("nails" came right out of side on the upper most strap) I ordered the pewter
I am a true 8 wide so when that isnt offered, i go for a 9m. Knowing leather gives a bit once you wear them Im always good in the width w a 9m. These are not for a wide foot even going up a size. I have tons of Marc Fisher sandals and his med. widths in a 9 always work for me but not this brand.
I also noted there wasnt any small elastic piece near the footbed on at least one of the straps like ive seen other brands do to allow for flex when walking.
Needless to say, the other styles w rivets in this brand immediately came out of my cart.
Im bummed cuz the style is so retro looking and i love chunky block heels, platforms and wedges. I loved the look and style of the straps and the heel/platform.
Im not even sure if i should recommend these to average feet gals. Knowing first hand how easily those rivets can pop off, i worry they wouldnt last long w the flexing of the foot while walking.....sigh. Put a bit of elastic on 1-2 straps near the base and i think these would be awesome.
