Samsung Smart Blu-ray Player is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 117.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from For the most part ok This is not a bad player. The picture is excellent etc. But nothing on the front of the player indicating anything. Nothing lights up. There is a button for power but does not light up. And a button to open and close where you place the disc. But nothing lights up. I would not buy again because of this.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from TERRIBLE It is March 3rd, 2019. This is the second time i’ve bought this blu-ray/dvd player. It’s only been since christmas. (2018). The first one didn’t work basically as i got it out of the box, this one lasted about 2 full freaking months. It freezes and then will not turn on. WASTE OF MONEY.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I’d rather no stars! We have two of these one in bedroom and one in living room. The one in bedroom won’t play any disks at all, the one in living room plays one out of 5 or you have to keep trying. Both are less than 6 months old. Very very very disappointing!!!!!!!!! Guess I’ll have to switch to another brand!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for the price but sorts audio tracks wrong Its a great device for the price but it sorts audio tracks alphabetically instead of by track number??? I downloaded the software update but it will does the same. This is an easy fix and should be addressed for a five-star rating.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very disappointed I did not buy this through QVC. I happen to come across it in their Cyber Deals. I was curious how others felt so I read the reviews. When we first took it out of the box I was shocked that their are no "play" buttons like all our previous DVD players. So if you break or lose your DVD controller your S.O.L. Can't stand that there's no power indicator light. Who knows how long it stays on for sucking up electricity when not on use. But the kicker most of all...to the point where I want to unplug it and throw it on my front lawn for the birds to build a winter nest in....I thought it was a smart bluray player, the kind that's wirelessly streams. I repel technology, so it's very hard for me to understand the lingo and the process. But our cable bill went up this month and I swore to my husband there's gotta be a better way. So we signed up for Hulu because I remember the logo shown on the front of the DVD player box. I said" we can do this!" I tried for HOURS, all by myself, trying to pull up my new HULU account with my wireless internet. I even called my cable company (45 minute call). Internet test clear, I had the correct password...then what the heck is stopping it? Well I just happen to read the other reviews and I saw a few people say there's no wireless capability!! Are you serious?! So I bought a network cable. Connected that to my router and DVD player and INSTANT! Do yourselves a favor, pick a better user friendly player. There's so many out there.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Meh This is a waste of money. From no power indicator to the poor remote control design and function, who thought this one out? I have to factory reset often because sound has issues as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Product upgrade I bought this product brand-new from an electronics store to replace another Samsung device I owned for four years. It provides features not on the other device, such as up-convert for older DVD's as well as support for other disc formats. It's the perfect compliment to my home theatre system and should serve my needs for the next several years.
