Rated 2 out of 5 by from OK Tv Poor Support I've owned many Samsung Products throughout the years and most of them are still function too this day with no problems. This TV became defective after only a few months of use. Warranty could not fix the problem. Samsung's only recourse was that I would be without use of a TV for 6 to 8 weeks.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Streaming services unwatchable I received this as a gift and was my first new tv in over 15 years. I can’t tell you how excited I was to watch Netflix and Disney + in 4K. Broadcast tv looks great with some fine tuning, but all Disney plus and Netflix shows are far too dark. night scenes are unwatchable and ruin the experience. I’ve spend days tweaking the picture and there is no solution. A quick google search shows that I’m not the only one with this problem. I’m going to have to buy a chromecast or something so I can watch these shows as intended as the built in apps are awful.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Big upgrade I upgraded from a 2017 model n to my surprise. Os sucks no compatible with motortrend app anymore. Big disapointment. Cons: Some apps not compatible anymore Slow OS system Lack of ports Lack of functions .

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Mirroring Doest Always Work, Sluggish Navigation It's a beautiful TV when it works HOWEVER, i would say half of the time when I try to airplay or mirror to the TV, it won't work. Whether it's airplaying my iphone's or macbook's home screen, or airplaying through the youtube app, apple music app, spotify app.. etc. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. For this I tried restoring the TV to factory settings, deleting my wifi network and setting up at again, and even having my wifi provider reset my router, nothing worked. Recently I tried downloading an app onto the tv, I press install, and the status bar doesn't fill up, then the "installing" button turns into "install", again - app not downloaded. One time, I turned the TV one and the resolution was all messed up, with green patches replacing shades in whatever's playing. That i fixed through a TV factory restore, but still an inconvenience nevertheless. Finally, navigating with the arrow keys through the apps on the TV is SO SLOW, like there is a lag, so sometimes you end up pressing the same button twice thinking it didn't pick up the first command then the the selection suddenly jumps 2 spaces and just so not smooth. in summary, so many different issues were present in this TV since day 1, and it's not cheap, so I wouldn't recommend this.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great with bright scenes. Poor for anything else. I got this TV on July 24, 2020. Design is amazing. Setup was a breeze. I'm good with only 2 HDMI inputs and the "lesser" remote (comparing the TU8000). Bright scenes show up incredibly on this TV. The detail and colour is great for what I'm using this for. I use this TV primarily to stream movies and episodes. I occasionally game too. Where this TV falters is on medium-lit and dark scenes on videos and games. The details in the scene are lost and the colours wash out. When characters move, there are long trails of where the character was in previous frames. During dialogue, the lips look like they are fuzzy or the audio is ahead of the lip movement. It's almost like all dark scenes are like dreams (or nightmares). It really takes away from the viewing experience. If I'm only speaking about bright scenes, there is no doubt that this TV is worth it for me. Great colour and performance overall. However, factoring the effect of the performance for lower-lit and dark scenes, I would recommend taking a look at something that performs better than this product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from 55" model, June 2020 I just go this TV a few days ago and I love it. HOWEVER, the picture sometimes flickers and during anything that isn't a still image, the colours act as though they are in negative/high contrast. I have turned off eco mode, turned off the HDMI Arc control and other "common fixes". The only solution is to unplug the TV for 30 secs to one minute and plug it back in. This is my first Samsung TV, and so far not impressed.
