Rowenta Smart Steam 1725W Iron with Laser Soleplate is rated 2.7 out of 5 by 16.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not so great I bought this brand of the iron because I was told it was the best brand. I do not like this iron. It does not have a turn turn off button and it doesn’t have anything to do with the cord. Ironing with it is ok but water always has to be with it and it is extremely hard to tell where the water line is. Enough said I wish I could return it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from There was no real way to gauge the temperature I love Rowenta but this iron had a really bad temperature dial...it was archaic. I returned it and bought another manufacturer.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not the Rowenta I used to know Silly me...did not read reviews. This iron leaks like a faucet! Did Rowenta only test ONE iron in production and that one did not leak?? Also, burst of steam is not powerful and seems to be a delayed reaction. If a colored water tank is necessary, then it must have a clear part so you can see the water line! If it wasn’t for QVC’s outlandish return charges, this would have gone back.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from One Issue I love my new Rowenta iron, except for one little issue. The color of the iron makes it hard to see where the water is in the tank. I am having to lift the iron up, moving it around to see the water move so I know how much water I can put in. That's not a big deal, but it is hard seeing it that way too. Other than that, it would be a 5 star.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not Like The Demo We've had a Rowenta for years and was excited about this Smart Steam iron. The iron was light, has a long cord, and easy to use. Unfortunately, it didn't get hot enough or produce the "steam" we were expecting. Cotton shirts just didn't get pressed like our old iron. This is going back!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Leaks water This is the second iron I’ve purchased and this one leaks water on the clothes when you think it’s ready to be used. The water doesn’t stay in long and I’m not sure if this is suppose to be happening.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed I kept this item for about two weeks, waiting for it to get hot, but it never did. Even with the shot of steam the performance was poor. I like a Rowenta iron but this one left me very disappointed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Water Levels Great iron!! Easy to use, no thinking about settings!! The only thing I would ask Rowenta to change is the water gage window. On the red it is a little too dark to see the water level.
