Roku Premiere 4K Streaming Player is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 10245.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from time to stream I've had nearly every box since the first. I love that this one comes with a strip to stick it to the tv. The picture is very clear. It would be nice if there remote had headphones Also different wallpaper than the ROKU tv in my living room.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Roku over any other stream device... Hello all... Let start with I personally never have had an issue with an Roku device... I currently have at least 1 of every model device Rpku had ever made starting with Roku1... Setup is super easy and quality is great, including 4K movies... I see some reviews of 1or2 stars and can only think "operator malfunction" ...let's face it...some people may don't understand some technology... And others don't understand the term "free movies & tv"... Roku devices are the most solid of all the streaming device available today and I have them all... And they make a device that fits any persons needs based on network type and tv type... And the price(s) is very easy on the pocket... I use these devices exclusively, on every tv I own (11 currently) and highly recommend them to everyone I know...

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No 5GHz in 2021? Watching a movie the other night the stream quit working multiple times to where we finally gave up. Looking into it this device doesn’t connect to 5GHz. The 2.4GHz WiFi band has interferences from all kinds of devices. Why would you make a 4K streaming device that doesn’t connect to the 5GHz band WiFi when its been out for over 10 years. Needless to say I’ll be replacing it with a different brand that actually works with 5GHz so you can actually watch 4K video without buffering issues.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not Impressed I bought this today & was excited to start watching my channels I like. WRONG!! most of the channels I want require a monthly subscription. I will be returning it to the store & buying a streaming device that has the channels I want

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I bought Two of the Premieres, started out good but after a while they started loosing signal, (excellent signa)l, tried to get a range extender like ROKU suggested, but every time I put the serial number in it says its no good bad number, what a hassle.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Waste of money in 2021 Bought this to get off of our LG Smart TV with the integrated WebOS because this advertised support for 4K streaming. Works about 50% of the time, the rest of the time, it has a lot off trouble loading 4k videos on Netflix, amazon prime and sling that the LG Smart TV had no trouble with it at all. The lack of a 5ghz wireless connection and only wireless B/G/N support is ancient in terms of wireless technology by at least a decade. Even with 500/100 internet, this thing can still only manage about 1.8mbps throughput from my wireless router. The price makes it no big loss but save yourself the money and put it towards something else with better internal hardware and modern WiFi support.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Simple but flawed I bought this back in November. I liked the fact that it’s a cheaper Roku option that comes with all the apps still. My two biggest complaints are 1) the Roku will randomly disconnect from my internet and 2) the remote kills the batteries about every 1-2 weeks. I have a Roku TV, and I’ve never had problems like this before with my TV. The device will randomly disconnect from my internet, and I have to turn it off, wait, and turn it back on again. Or reboot my whole WiFi. Also, the batteries it came with worked for about 2 months. Then, the batteries died. Ever since then, I’ve had to replace them at least every two weeks. If you’re looking for something easy and cheap, go for it. If you’re looking for something with fewer nuisances, pick a different streaming device.
