Rated 1 out of 5 by from DON'T BUY THIS PLANT! You'll be sorry if you do! Granted, the plants shown during the on-air presentation looked fabulous, so I bought one. Then I had to go out and buy a special pot (shallow, wide bonsai-type clay pot is recommended.) I found this kind of pot very difficult to find in PA in the winter time, when I received the plant. Then I had to go buy special soil (cactus mix recommended.) Then I babied this plant by following the enclosed directions to the letter. What did I get for my trouble? This sabi star never produced a single bud, let alone a flower, and it dropped leaves the whole time I owned it, even after experimenting with different watering amounts. I finally gave up on it after a year and a half when it looked almost like a bare stalk. I might add that most of the time, I do have a green thumb. Generally, I have good things to say about QVC products, but this plant ranks up there as the WORST QVC purchase I have ever made. Frankly, I can't believe that QVC is still selling this plant! My advice: check out all the negative reviews and save your money!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from So wanted this plant.... to survive and bloom and come back each year a bit larger....I had a replacement and it lasted about a year. I thought I had it and then it just started to rot away. So disappointed. I wanted to order another but all these bad reviews. I so want this plant..............

Rated 1 out of 5 by from waste of money Bought this cause it was suppose to be easy and lots of flowers. The first died. The 2nd is a stalk with 3 leaves. Never got even one flower. Not worth the aggravation unless they send the guy with to take care of it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Still waiting..... I bought this plant about 3 years ago, I think I bought the pink. I don't remember because it has never bloomed! I have a few leaves on it, then they fall off. I did everything they said, have the shallow pot, proper soil, etc. It is not what I expected :(

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Tried and tried to grow this NO,LUCK bought 2, next year bought another. Love this plants looks. Came well packed and healthy. However I followed all directions each time. Did not overwater. Lasted a year, then started to shrivel. Lost them all. I live in Michigan, plant did not seem to like change in seasons. Very sad. I give up. Way to disappointed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Piece Of Crap I have had mine for about 5 years and it looks like a 12 inch tall string bean. It has never flowered and has about 3 leaves at the top of the stalk. It is Nothing like they say on tv. Don't waste your money.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful I purchased one of these about 3 years ago and at first I thought it was going to die. I put it outside in the summer and it thrived. The trick to this plant is to plant it in a shallow pot. I didn’t know this and it grew tall. It has bloomed several times and it is gorgeous now. It loses its leaves in winter but grows back in summer. Love it!
