Roberta's 1-Piece Chicago Hardy Fig Tree is rated 3.2 out of 5 by 42.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Fruit Ever! I live in a south suburb of Chicago and planted my fig tree in the ground. No luck, it kept growing, but not producing fruit. Then I talked with a professional landscaper and he told me to put one in an extra large pot and take it in the garage during the winter and water it every few weeks so the soil would not dry out. So I ordered 2 new plants and followed his directions. To my surprise, in late March, they started growing leaves (which had all dropped off in the fall) in our dark garage (no windows). Brought it out for the second summer and it grew figs that were the best tasting fruit I ever had. My neighbors went nuts over the fruit and now they are buying them as well. Can't wait until next summer!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Zone 5/6 I don't protect my fig; it doesn't seem to make a difference. I planted it in the ground. It dies back to ground, but it comes back every year. I usually get a crop of figs in September.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from died over the winter This is suppose to be a Chicago winter hardy fig. Safe for down to 10 degrees. Not! Mine is dead and it never went that low. Very disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Healthy Tree Arrived Our Fig Tree arrived nicely packaged. It is a nice size healthy full tree! We unpacked it and let it sit in a sunny window a couple of days due to some cool nights and strong windy days. We planted the tree and a week later it has already grown about 4 inches. Anxious to watch it grow and produce figs. Thank you Roberta's for a nice little Fig Tree

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AMAZING! I pre-ordered this product a couple of months ago, and have been so excited for it to arrive. I started seeing some negative reviews which made me nervous, but the tree arrived today, and is the same size as the one shown on the presentation, and was in fantastic shape. Super green, lot of leaves, not yellow at all. It is not quite as full as the one on tv, but I am confident that it will fill up soon. The packaging was excellent and helped the tree get here in the West, safe and sound. I planted it with mykorrhiza to help establish heathy roots. So excited to start harvesting mouth-watering figs!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Arrived Nearly Dead Was so excited to get my fig tree, but when it arrived most of the leaves on it were wilted and dieing. I am trying to revive it. I hope it makes it.
