Rated 2 out of 5 by from Where Is My RING Ordered 11/16/2020 and it is now 11/29/2020..Still have not received my RING. QVC needs to read customer feedback on the amount of time to receive items. Way to long even during COVID. This would be my second Ring doorbell (purchased 3 years ago). My first Ring is still working wonderfully. Yes there is a subscription service of about $3.00 per month. I am hoping with the nite video is more crisp. I may sway out the older Ring and install it in the backyard and use the new one for the front door.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great price for piece of mind We purchased this Ring doorbell 3 to replace our original Ring doorbell we've had for 4 years. We had hardwired our original doorbell, and we did the same with this one. Prior to installation, I found videos from Ring on Youtube that walked my husband through step by step details and it was no trouble to get up and running. We did already have 2 Ring doorbell chimes installed in my home, so that should be mentioned? But this doorbell gives you the option to have it chime on your original doorbell if you decide have it hardwired, which is a really nice feature. With our original Ring, we did have trouble with it staying connected to our wifi, and the technicians at Ring advised it was because our house was made of brick. The Ring 3 advertises that it stays connected through stone or brick, and so far it is doing amazingly well. The motion has a quick response and I love that you can really customize it to your particular zone, to block out the street or your neighbor going back and forth with groceries. The interchangeable face plate for silver or black/bronze is very nice, and it gives the user a bit of customization to match your front decor. One thing I love about having my Ring doorbell is that I know who is at my door before I walk up to it. I can be at the grocery or even visiting with friends a state away and I can take a peek onto my street with just the click of an app. It gives me total piece of mind.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Purchase Subscription Nowhere in the details about the Ring Doorbell does it mention that you have to purchase a subscription for either $3.00 or $10.00 a month for full use of the services, recording, etc., that he Ring does. It will allow you basic operation but to enhance for one device is the $3.00 subscription and to use on more than one device it is the $10.00 month subscription. I wanted to use it on my phone, my desktop computer and my tablet and was not informed I had to pay the cost of the subscription to do that. Paying the $3.00 a month would allow me to use it on my cell phone only. I did not even open the box because I do not want to pay for another monthly subscription for a product that never mentioned it until I researched it further than the description on the QVC page.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Ring is working good, but QVC leaves you hanging The Ring price was good, so I purchased it with the advertised Ring Assist +. This is advertised as a 39.00 value. However there is no way in the packaging to let you know how to redeem the Ring Assist +. I contacted QVC customer service and they directed me to call Ring. I am sorry, but if they advertise something that is included but do not tell you how to redeem that offer, that is poor. On my own reading the ring blogs, supposedly they automatically know that you purchased it from QVC/HSN and have that additional coverage. "There is nothing additional you need to do to activate your Ring Assist+. Once the device is setup and online, our system will recognize that originated from HSN and your Ring Assist+ will be automatically enabled on your account. We try to make this as simple as possible for you! I hope this helps!" However on the Ring site after you setup your device it doesn't state that and wants you to pay. As far as the doorbell. Its working great. Hopefully this helps others who run into the same question.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too wide for my door trim I so wanted to be able to install this at my front door, but I have an older home with 2” brick molding and then brick surrounding my front door, so could not configure any way to make it fit and look good. Ring ... please consider a smaller footprint for older homes!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wegde for Vinyl Siding not included I just received my Ring Video Doorbell 3. Was excited to install it. Then realized as I opened the package that the mounts provided do not accommodate for Vinyl siding. Needed to buy a separate mount in order to properly mount to my house. Now need to wait an additional few days to install. Would have been nice to have known this up front.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from My package was vandalized Just received this Ring Doorbell, was very excited to get this item set up. From the start, I noticed the seal on the package had been broken. After informing QVC via chat, I was advised I could return right away or return once I notice any issues with the condition of the product. As I continue opening the Doorbell, I notice the black faceplate is missing. The Ring Doorbell came with two faceplates...silver and black. The black one had been removed from the product packaging. Highly disappointed that this item will have to be returned and I'll have to wait for a replacement to be mailed. What a shame!
