Rachael Ray Porcelain II 5-qt Covered Oval Saute Pan is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointed I've had this Saute Pan for about 2 years now, give or take. There is nothing like being able to cook spaghetti or lasagna noodles in the oval pan. It's truly wonderful, and the saute pan is still in good shape on the inside...however....the OUTSIDE has taken a beating. Not only is it scratched badly (I'm not even rough on it, just moving it on the stove has caused scratches), the color has faded to almost a sky blue. It's quite a few shades lighter than the silicone on it now, and looks much older than it is. I give it an A for function, but an F for aesthetics. The non-stick coating is still in great shape too. I've read reviews on other sites that the RR people do not consider this cosmetic issue warranty worthy. I'm not happy about that honestly. So...I give it 3 stars. It's a shabby item, but highly functional. Great for simmering sauces on the low flame middle oval burner if you have one on your stove too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for so many uses This pan is a wonder. I use it for fish and other 'long things like a pork loin roast. But it is also perfect for use as a regular shaped pan. It goes into the oven at 350...maybe hotter but I use it at that temperature. I had two and gave one away, now I am thinking I need to replace that. Two perfect pans are not too many! Cleans like a breeze and I do think you will be very pleased too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Pan Overall Love this line of cookware and wanted to try this unusual shaped pan. I bought it quite a while ago and use it more than any other one I own. It cooks evenly, cleans well and is very convenient for anything. I have used it to sauté, cook whole chickens or a roast and even to slow cook. It looks the same as when I bought it over a year ago. Never disappointed with her kitchen-line.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from REALLY REALLY NICE PAN!!!!! OH OH OH!!!!! I was given this pan as a gift for my birthday from one of my daughters. I wasn't sure if I would use it because it is so large and now there is just my husband and I. WELL I use it a LOT. Not only do I use it for pasta on the stove, but I put a chicken, beef roast, or a pork roast in it in the oven once a week. I also throw vegtables in there also. It cleans up fast and easy. Meat loaf comes out good also. I have also done apple crisp and bread pudding. It is a very useful pan. Nice for a large family and also for a small family. I have the blue one. I am very happy with this pan. It is wonderful for the stove top and the oven.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Versatile Pan! A Must Have! I received this pan as a Christmas present and fell in love with it! This is my new go to pan for sure. It's large and beautiful. You can cook long pastas and things like asparagus and bacon without worry that it's not going to fit in the pan. It's deep enough that you could even prepare soups and chilis without a problem. I only hand wash this pan but I believe it can go in the dishwasher. I have so much of Rachael's bakeware and I am pleased that her cookware is just as amazing as her big, beautiful stoneware pieces. Highly recommended!
