Rated 1 out of 5 by from Braiser This pan sticks. Supposed to be non stick. Would not recommend this pan to any one. It was a waste of my money!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sticks like crazy I have several pieces of enameled cast iron and each one has had a nice slick surface that will release food yet browns nicely. This has no enamel on the inside and is sticks like crazy. I would never recommend this pan. I was so disappointed!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love the braiser - but it does stick I do love the braiser - but the food sticks. The pan washes OK - but you have to work on the stuck food. As soon as I finish the food I am cooking - I pour a layer of water in the pan until I can wash it. That lifts the stuck food well.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Regret purchase I am a fan of cast iron cooking and thought this would be the perfect combination of cast iron and flat bottom pan. Ceramic cooktops require a flat bottom pan and many cast iron skillets have a rim on the bottom which keeps them from sitting directly on the burner. This, however, is pretty in color and shape but way too heavy for frequent use. Washing it is challenging. It doesn't always come clean as easily as other cast iron pans. I do like the size but not the weight. The weight is from the cast iron feature, so I guess I shouldn't complain.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from So Hard To Clean Everything sticks to this pan which makes it very hard to clean. I regret this purchase.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Just OK This does an OK job on stovetop; I have not used it in the oven. I have a ceramic top range and the heat does not get to edges of the braiser and, even on low, items do stick. That said, it does clean up fairly easy with soap and water with a mild cleaning sponge. Also, the description says 5 inches high and it is only about 2 1/2 inches in height; therefore, it will not be good for stews.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Functional Cookware! I watched Rachel while featured on QVC and was impressed with the things she had to say about her cookware; likened to her cookware as being very functional in shape and size, so I decided to give this cast iron round braiser a try. I purchased a grey "as is" braiser and was very pleasantly surprised to discover it was brand new! Any how, as I washing this braiser I marveled at how generously sized and was and just how well made it is. The handles are large enough to grip this braiser, even with oven mittens1 Way to Go Rachel! It figures that a woman would design "smart cookware" that allows for easy dexterity (handle with hands). I will now look to purchase more "smart cookware" from Rachel for now on. Merry Christmas Rachel and QVC, Thank you for my lovely new cast iron braiser!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Made in China I am not disappointed in the pan. I bought it on sale at a great price. But I am disappointed to find that it is made in China. I will not purchase any more of Rachael Ray's cookware. I'm sure there are enamel coated cast iron pans made in the USA. I will search for them from now on.
