Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really works! Just add a small amount of apple juice and they will come. I use two of these in the spring around my deck area and you wouldn't believe the amount of bees and wasps that I catch. I just empty it every few days and add fresh juice. I had a friend over and she was so impressed she immediately ordered some.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Didn't work to capture wasps The one or two wasps that were caught, were able to climb out! I tried Mountain Dew and sugar water. They weren't that interested in it. They knew it was a trap! Lol!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Useful It seems like a good idea but not effective. Plus the sugar water evaporates quickly in Summer heat. Not 1 bug trapped!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cute Wasp Trap I received this about 3 days ago. I have wasps and yellow jackets, when I saw this I thought I would try it, haven't caught anything yet. I found out today to use 1/4 cup sugar with coke, fill below the bottom openings. I was using water and sugar, maybe I didn't have enough sugar. I'll see what happens. I didn't know they were attracted to sugar, I did read to add a couple caps of vinegar to the liquid, honey bees will not go toward vinegar but the wasps, yellow jackets and hornets don't care. I hope this mixture will work. I did see a wasp on the outside of the trap the day I hung it up he just never went in the opening. I also read you can use fruit juice instead of coke. I gave only 3 stars because it hasn't trapped anything yet, it's a cute item though and a nice size, I have mine hanging under the eve of the house off the front porch. It hangs 28 inches from the top of the twine to the bottom of the trap. Oh, it has attracted allot of gnats, living in the south we have allot of those.
