About the Design

"This hard-to-find gemstone has limited availability around the globe. I recently traveled to three of the world's most important gemstone cutters and searched their vaults for unusual, exotic, and extraordinary gemstones. I found small parcels of cut and rough gemstones that haven't been seen in many years. The range is vast and incredible, and each stone has a remarkable story."

—Peyton Kelley, Graduate Gemologist

Rated 4 out of 5 by Fire & Ice Beautiful color in the fire opal and an impressive size stone. The champaign diamonds give it the impression of fire and ice. The combination of the two stones are stunning. At first I wasn't sure I liked how it looked on "my" finger. Perhaps it was the design. I felt the diamonds were a bit lost in the wrap. Felt it a little awkward on my finger. Was going to send back because I wasn't sure if it was worth the price. I kept it around for a week and now I think I will keep it. I love the fire opal but still wish the design was a little different. So giving it 4 stars. 01-07-14
Rated 2 out of 5 by black rhodium ruins it!! The red fire opal is everything as described and beautiful, however, the black rhodium cheapens the look of the ring and makes the champagne diamonds drab as well as darkens the beautiful opal. The center opal is so gorgeous that I am trying to overcome my disappointment of the use of black rhodium in the setting. 01-07-14
