Rated 5 out of 5 by from Red Solar Lantern This is by far one of the absolute best solar light products ever!! My backyard is totally solar lit with over 65 different types of lights! This red QVC lantern not only stays lit all night long but the actual light is very bright. It gets more compliments than all the other lights. It’s December now and the sunlight hours are few and not as strong, but this lantern continues to emit a bright constant light!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Works...some. The first couple of weeks were great, it came on at dusk and stayed lit most of the night. Now all of a sudden it acts like it has a short, light on then light off and stays off. I’ve checked connections and made sure the battery was in snugly. Only option left is to get a new battery but I’m not sure it’s worth the trouble. Already out purchase price and can’t return because I discarded the packing after it worked the first week.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Doesn't hold solar luminess for long enough time ! The lamp is so well thought-out but unfortunately after charging all day long in the sun in the window, it looses the luminous too quickly, and is done shinning after like 20 mins ;-( so sad because I really like the design that laminates out !! but it's like a big tease..

Rated 2 out of 5 by from So pretty.....for 10 minutes.....then it goes out Purchased two and looks SO NICE when they come on.....then after about 10 minutes they go out. Read that from a lot of the reviews on here, will most likely return. Disappointing because when they ARE on it casts a very nice pattern of light and they are a very good size, love the red color. But not much good if they don't stay on.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cute lantern that doesn't work These things can be fully charged and still do not stay on. Literally stay on 10 seconds and shut off. I am asking for a refund.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Too Fragile but Pretty I am returning this lantern because although it is pretty, the ceramic is way too thin and fragile. Wind would easily break as its too lightweight. The top is a cheap plastic and doesn't fit flat to the solar panel. The on/off switch is rubber and you can not tell if on or off. Sadly have to send it back and end up with $12.50 in shipping charges. I had high hopes. I would not recommend for outside use. Sorry Plow & Hearth and Qvc for not giving more information. That's the problem with buying items sight unseen.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from tried three ...sent back three I really loved the look of this lantern and how pretty it looked in our sunroom. The first one I got stopped glowing the second night. Sent it back , thinking just got a bad one. The second one did the same. Now I am thinking I must be doing something wrong. Yes, I ordered a third one. This time I called the company in Virginia. They said to let it set in the sun for at least 48 hours. Okay ! So maybe I just didn't let it power up long enough. First night a beautiful glow. Second night, came on for maybe 10 minutes and out !! Returning the third one. I think it has something to do with the tiny on/off switch. Just never seemed right on any of them. I would pass on this item
