Rated 2 out of 5 by from Wanted to love it..... but just....didn't. I've wanted a fire opal ring forever. I thought this was THE ONE, but it was just.....ok. I figured for nearly 600 bucks, it should WOW me. It didn't. And I wasn't thrilled with the fact that it's made in China. That's probably why it fit just a tiny bit smaller than my other size 7 rings.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! Opal is my birthstone and I have been looking for a fire opal ring for some time. Love the style and mix of citrus hues like the other poster stated. Simple and low profile. Checked out many stores in Mexico but found nothing like this. Also I trust QVC and their quality. So happy it's offered in 14K gold.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Fire opal I am disappointed in this ring. While I love the design, I do not like the color of the stones in this fire opal ring. The darker stones are of orange color, not red and the lighter stones are like citrines. I can see a couple of stones are a bit cloudy. I expected the color to be more on the red side than orange. The color of stones shown on TV and the presentation is on the red side. That's not what I received. As soon as I took the ring out of the package I immediately knew I will be returning it. It looked more like one of my hessonite garnet rings than a fire opal ring. Very disappointed. The ring is going back. I can only recommend this ring if you don't mind having orange fire opals instead of red. And, I gave two stars for the design. No stars for the color of the stones.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bright, beautiful colors! This ring is a wonderful work of art. The mix of saturated citrus shades and gold blend together beautifully to give the appearance of a shimmering band of lava wrapped around the finger. This little dynamo of a ring leaves no question about the aptness of the name 'fire opal'. Smooth and comfortable to wear, it is an excellent size; small and low enough not to overwhelm smaller hands, but packing an enormous punch of color that gets noticed. Made very well with secure prongs, there is no worry of losing a stone during normal wear.
