Panasonic Two-Line Telephone System with Two Handsets
product thumbnail
The convenience of ultimate connectivity. The Panasonic KX-TG9582B two-line telephone system comes with a base unit and two handsets, but has the ability to connect much more. It's expandable up to 12 handsets--and that's not including the four smartphones that can connect via Link2Cell and Bluetooth wireless technology.

Plus, there's a USB port so you can connect your phone to a computer and make and take calls to and from Outlook contacts. Two-line operation lets you utilize two separate lines, so you can keep home and work calls, and messages, separate. From Panasonic.

Use of Bluetooth technology may require software and accessories.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Brand new and Broken This phone was just unpacked and set up and there is no dial tone through the corded phone. The only way we can use the phone is through the speaker phone. Panasonic was unwilling to ship a new phone. We will have to send this one in for repair and do without a phone while it is being serviced. Terrible customer service!!! If I could write this review with no stars I would but I had to put one star.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I would not buy this phone again People complained of the voice quality. MS Outlook integration crashed my Outlook software, doens't work. People complained about hold music. when getting a second call I almost always lost a call due to the difficulty switching lines/call waiting. what a mess.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Bells and Whistles galore Replaced old 2-line KX-TG2740S after 13 years of faithful service. New model is sophisticated, but lacks seemingly common sense features: * Can't use headset on base unit without cancelling corded handset * Old model had multiple ring tones (6) totally lacking in new model. Of the two available tones both sound alike. * Remote handsets have no ringtone selection * New handsets are smaller/lighter and easily dropped until you get used to them * No way to import directory from old set

Rated 3 out of 5 by from corded phone never worked right We are happy with this system except that the corded phone most (95%) of the time does not work. I can hear the other person but they can not hear me.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Speakerphone is Junk! Who designed this phone! Lots of people are scratching their heads about why they didn't put a hold button on the cordless handset, but I am wondering why in the world would they design such a great phone and then put a 1/2 duplex speakerphone in it...?? Don't buy this phone if you like to use the speakerphone (as I do). It will not work for you unless you are used to talking to people on a walkie-talkie.
