Rated 2 out of 5 by It Is Not Homemade I am on my second week. I agree that they give you too many bars for breakfast and lunch. The beans are hard to tolerate. I will give the Chile to my husband. I guess you get what you pay for. The food is edible. I like to add some spices to it. I do like the shakes but the desserts are for the men. One problem I really have, is the food pops in the microwave and makes a big mess! They have hidden corn in it and I think that is what makes it pop. When I put my own corn in the microwave, it doesn't do that. I always have to put the meals in another dish even the soup! I don't even have a high temperature microwave. I am glad I don't have much weight to lose because I would have to quit Nutrisystem. One month is enough! 05-10-16
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not Bad Most of the items I've tried are okay. To say this food is delicious would be a stretch. In my 4 week plan with weekends off, I received way too many bars for breakfast, lunch and snacks and I don't want to eat a bar as my meal - a supplement maybe but not my meal. I also received way too many pizzas/flat breads- not enough variety for me. I will say though that the shakes seem to help curb your appetite and taste pretty good. Tried this for two weeks and this just isn't the plan for me. It's going back! 04-18-16
Rated 1 out of 5 by Same food each month! Ordered this when it was the TSV in January. They showed a huge variety of food, but they have sent me the exact same 20 items for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks the past 4 months...seriously? Can't you change it up a bit or at least have us choose our meals? I'm allergic to pork and shrimp (shellfish) so certain items I have to discard, would be nice if I could substitute other meals. Also, the "Italian" meals have too much of a vinegar taste (cheese tortellini) and some are entirely too spicy. I don't like peas so I'm sick of having to pick them out of the chicken soup, beef stew, chicken pot pie, and lasagna! Also, the lunch "meals" you have to add water to take entirely too much time to soften (cheese broccoli, beans and rice). PLEASE CHANGE UP THE PRODUCTS, or better yet, LET US CHOOSE!!! 04-16-16
Rated 4 out of 5 by Lost 10 lbs. the first week! I finally decided to take the plunge and try Nutrisystem. As with any diet, those first few days are tough. Most of the food is quite tasty. I dropped 7 lbs. before I even finished the Fast 5. And I'm almost 61 with a post-menopausal metabolism. Of course, I know the weight loss will slow down, but I'm very optimistic about achieving my goal--which is to drop at least 50 lbs. 04-11-16
Rated 1 out of 5 by Lost Six Tenths Of A Pound Very disappointed. I followed the program exactly and lost .06 of a pound after one month. Too many carbs and too much sugar. As we age, those two things raise glucose which in turn inhibits weight loss. Wish it had worked because I was searching for an easy fix. 04-01-16
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Diet Ever! I have tried every diet out there and this one is by far the best! I only had the last stubborn 10 pounds to lose and i have taken off 8 pounds so far and am working on my final 2! Thank you Marie ! I feel great! 03-29-16
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nutrisystem I am in the middle of my third month and have lost 20lbs and more in inches. This is a diet and the food is ok, It has done the job of getting me to finally lose lbs and inches. I for some reason feel I am losing very slow. The problem is that I am tired of the food that is being sent. It is the same month after month. I agree the boxes of pizza, cans of chili and chicken soup are overdone. I would continue the program if we could get a choice and change things up a bit. Unless the choice changes, this will probably be my last month. Good luck, the program does work. 03-24-16
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not what it used to be Years ago I used Nutrisystem and lost 65 pounds; (only to gain it back when I looked at food after the program). The food then was very good. I think the choices that are sent are horrible. Yesterday I got 8 pizzas. Pizza is my favorite food, but calling these "pizza" is a stretch. I think for the money we pay, we should get more real food, not just 8 cardboard "pizza's". I am considering stopping the program, but trying to think of a better way to do it. 03-16-16
