Rated 1 out of 5 by Sorry My husband and I tried the system..It came with mostly pizza which taste like cardboard. Too much salt in most of the foods. Most tasted awful..however the. Shakes were ok and the Tuna salad and chicken pot pie was ok but not the biscuit top..I cant even give the rest of the boxes away... 10-10-16
Rated 1 out of 5 by Would not order again Have tried this food several times and I just can't do it any longer. Most of the food looks bad before even tasting it. The garbage disposal gets most of it. Too many bars, too much tomato sauce and spice doesn't make food edible.. Portions OK. Compared the bars at the grocery store to NS bars and contents are the same and are less expensive.. Shakes are bland and most snack cookies are so hard I can't even chew them. 09-12-16
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great!! Today ended week one of the Nutrisystem Fast 5 Plan. I have lost 7 pounds my first week. It can't be easier. You open a package and eat the food, add some vegetables and that's it. The Turbo shakes are delicious. I really wasn't hungry at all during the first week. I know the first week of any diet usually shows good results but many times you are hungry, craving things and just miserable. This wasn't the case with this plan. I have seen a number of negative comments about the food. I had no problem with the taste of the food and I am not someone who will eat just anything. I added spices to the food plus added some chopped up sautéed vegetables to many of the dishes to add some crunch and volume. I am not a big pasta person, so the dishes with pasta weren't my favorites, but I ate them. I think with any diet plan if you go into it with a positive attitude, you will do what you need to do to lose the weight. For me, not having to do a lot of preparing and guessing about portions made this a great plan. I hope the rest of the time I follow the plan works as well as week one. 06-11-16
Rated 2 out of 5 by Could Improve I used Nutrisystem several years ago with success and I found the food delicious for the most part. I'm not a picky eater and enjoyed most of what was offered. There were egg breakfast cups, and delicious dinner meals. My recent purchase was disappointing. Too many pizzas and bars for breakfast and lunch. Pizza is a gummy little puck, breakfast muffins have a heavy stale texture and in the chili I found some kind of large stem. The shakes are good, pasta and the tuna packet. I don't feel this is a good purchase for the money whether you lose weight or not. I can lose weight and have with my own smaller portions of good food. I don't enjoy writing negative reviews but the change in the food from several years ago is so drastic I had to write. 06-08-16
Rated 1 out of 5 by Consumer Beware Food Does Not Taste Good Beware that you will lose that five pounds and a bit more within two weeks, however, then you realize that you are eating less because you don't want to eat the food (except the breakfast bars and shakes) because it tastes bad...something like the non-refrigerated TV dinners at your grocery store...or as my husband said field rations...he's eating it occasionally, but we still have lots left.. Then you put the weight on ...I got my box in January and it's May, so you know the experience is such that it stayed with me. Also, Nutrisystem will email you to death everyday, even if you unsubscribe five times; they say it could be coming from another source (but I provided the email source). Thus this writing. QVC even sent one box by accident a few months ago, and told me I could keep it....haven't opened, saving for earth quake supplies. Also, you don't get to pick your food in auto delivery and it only changes per season. 05-24-16
Rated 3 out of 5 by It's OK Lost weight rapidly, but the food isn't all that great. Way too many chili and pizza. Think I'll do my own diet from now on but this was a good jump start. Needs more variety in the food choices. 05-21-16
Rated 1 out of 5 by Nutri System Customer Service I spent hours debating ordering the Nutrisystem, because of my budget, but decided to give it a try. After spending an hour and talking to 5 different Nutrisystem customer service representatives, I am so disappointed. I am 64 years old, overweight and disabled. I have lost approximately 20 lbs in 2 months on this TSV. I wanted to stay on it because it's convenient and I only have to purchase fresh or frozen vegetables. After being on the phone for an hour, I was told that I cannot change anything on this plan except by cancelling my QVC TSV order and ordering from them personally (and I understand that). I was given 3 different prices, by the customer service representatives, on what my cost would be to customize my orders - $242, $294 and $274. I can't afford an increase. I don't care for chocolate, except for ice cream and shakes, and my monthly shipment comes with a lot of chocolate laced snack bars for breakfast and lunch. I also do not care for most beans and their chili is spicy and full of some dark beans but I've been choking them down. All I wanted to do was eliminate some of the food and replace it by doubling up on other foods included in my QVC TSV. I like their lasagna and the chicken noodle soup is better than Campbell's IMO. Also, because I'm retired, I can't afford an increased price. First rep told me she would transfer me to a department that would assist me with that. They're just your typical sales reps - only wanted to sell me more and set me up for a special program for $34.99 (beware of that!). Last one even was a bit flip about it and gave me his direct extension to call him back, IF I was willing to pay $274 so they must work on commission. After explaining my wants/needs, I feel they didn't value me as a customer. I wouldn't recommend purchasing Nutrisystem. I wish I'd read the reviews on here before I purchased it. 05-06-16
Rated 5 out of 5 by Weighttogo This is my 4th nutrisystem purchase from qvc . I use this to lose extra weight gain and to stay in my clothes. I think the food is really good. I like planning my meals. Nutrisystem works for me. And I'll continue to use it for life. Thanks nutrisystem and qvc. 04-26-16
