Northern Nights Tranquility 13" Queen Mattress is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 24.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Amazing Bed I love this bed! When I received it I was a little disappointed because it wasn't was firm as I wanted. However, over time it has conformed to my body and feels wonderful. I get a good nights sleep and wake up feeling great and ready to start my day. It's beautiful and well made. I'm happy with this purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Quality but Too Soft I didnt realize that this mattress comes rolled up. That's cool. However the description states Medium firmness, but I think this should be considered Soft. When my husband is in the bed, I roll to the middle. It is a great quality but I need a firmer mattress than this one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Daughter LOVES Her New Mattress!! Bought this for my 13 year old daughter. I'd never purchased a bed in a box before so I was skeptical, but it turned out to be a perfect mattress for her. Some reviewers mentioned that it required a box springs but I bought a good quality pedestal (with close wooden slats) and it's perfect for her. No need to buy a box springs unless you're maybe a larger person. The fabric is super soft and plush feeling. The mattress itself is a little on the soft side for me, but the memory foam underneath does provide some decent support. It is big and heavy in the box so recommend having a helper to unpack. There was a slight chemical smell but it was gone by the next day. I'd defiantly recommend it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Comfortable I purchased the twin size for a daybed that i purchased a while back and thought this would make an awesome addition to my queen bedroom suit. While I do love this addition, it is different on my queen bed versus the daybed. This mattress is firmer on the queen bed than the daybed due to the added foundation that comes with a traditional bedroom suit. Aslo, I am 54 and a female so I purchased this mattress for it's benefit of helping the sleeper to stay cool during the night while sleeping. Unfortunately I have not found this to be so with my body chemistry...not saying that it provide other sleepers a cool night sleep. The height of the mattress makes it difficult to get into bed being 5'2"...but I have found that true with pretty much any mattress and foundation set. Finally, if you have pets, especially cats, you will definitely need a mattress cover to keep the pillow top from being picked by their nails.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from So dissapointed! At first this mattress was amazing, but after 2 months the top layer started to bulge. I am not able to get the top layer of foam to lay flat, so when sleeping I am laying on a bump. QVC customer service was stellar as usual and since the item is defective I am able to receive a full refund and donate the mattress to Mary's Place, which provides shelter for the homeless here in Seattle.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bulging Foam If anyone would get a faulty mattress, it would be me. The first layer of foam is bulging up and it hits right under my shoulders. Did call customer service and unless I want to return it, there seems to be no other option. Returning the mattress would be a nightmare, so am stuck with it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Thoughts After Almost 30 Days I have now used the mattress for almost 30 days, and my grade, or evaluation is a C+. It is a vast improvement over the mattress it replaced, but it does not provide the support that i expected. My wife is also indifferent about it as well. Another issue is the thickness of the mattress. It forces me to have to climb onto the mattress surface. A ten inch mattress would have been much better based on my height. I would not recommend the mattress to others, not because the mattress is bad, but because the sleep surface and the amount of support it provides is such a subjective thing.
