Nomad Hurricane Rubber Rain Boots is rated 3.2 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointed! I read other comments and ordered a half size smaller, which was perfect foot size wise. But the shaft is so narrow! I do not ever need to buy wide calf boots, and I couldn't get these over my calf. Disproportionately narrow compared to the foot bed part. Loved the style and bright yellow color.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BEST RUBBER RAIN BOOTS AROUND!! I have purchased rain boots that have cost 3-4 times the cost of these boots and were definitely not worth it. These are worth their weight in gold. I've worn them in the rain and snow as well as in the garden when it's been a little muddy. Although they do the trick to take the dogs out in the snow, they are not made for the snow as it sticks to the ridges of the sole. My new favorite brand of rubber boots is Nomad! Now if I can just find a yellow rain coat to match I'd be looking forward to rainy days! Highly recommend this brand. They are made very well. Hopefully the rubber won't crack within a year like the very expensive brands did.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cute but Too Tight I loved these boots as soon as I saw them. I ordered a size down, like the other reviews said. However, the calves were just way too tight. I'm not a big legged girl but this just didn't work. I was thinking of cutting the inside to allow more space but haven't decided yet. So sad to send these back...

Rated 2 out of 5 by from LOOKS like "Original" but does NOT FIT like it I gave these "Wellie" knockoffs a 2 for potential only. I was excited when I opened the box b/c they "look" like the boot I wanted, but sadly when I tried them on, I discovered that looks are indeed deceiving. I am a standard size 8M (w/over 150 pair of size 8M shoes in my closet) so I ordered size 8. However, these boots are HUGE in the foot bed, ankle, and lower leg area, but tight around the calf area...so much so that when I had them on, I could lift my leg and shake it and the entire boot, hanging from it's tight grip on my upper calf, just shook all around without my foot even touching the bottom or sides. Thus, I can't safely or securely walk in them, b/c there is not proper support since the shoe doesn't touch the foot/ankle. They are also on the heavy side. If they had made the calf/top wider, as the originals are so you can tuck jeans, etc., and made the overall proportions balanced, this would be a lovely "Wellie-esk" boot. I even WANTED the Yellow color to match my Yellow Rain Coat. Sadly, I had to return them and cannot recommend them due to the various and significant sizing issues.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Love the yellow color BUT..... I have other Nomad boots that fit me perfectly in my size 7. These boots fit in the toe area but are SUPER WIDE! I can't keep them on my feet and I wear a medium width. More postage $ down the drain.
