Nisaku Stainless Steel Weeder with 4 ft. Wooden Handle is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Doesn't Stay Sharp In the demonstration, the soil was very loose & airy. Any tool would work in those circumstances. For 45 minutes, the blade stayed sharp. Soon after, it became DULL. The next day, it was still dull, it wouldn't cut through anything, unless you stand there chopping, chopping, wearing yourself out. . Too expensive, for such disappointing results.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WOW!!! If you garden, buy this tool! I was a bit skeptical about buying this tool. It is not cheap, but once I tried it out, I realized it is worth having to eat ramon noodles for a month! In the South, we have a weed called Carolina Creeper. It is zillions of thorns, held together by leaves that look like rose bushes. Even with heavy-duty gloves, that stuff digs into your skin, and attaches itself to your clothes, dogs, and anything else within reach. Nothing kills it, and it is a bugger to get out. Well, one punch with this tool, and it cut the creeper down below the ground and a quick yank on the handle pulled it out (that four foot handle is great). Another thing we have is creeping grass. It sends out tentacles that creep over borders, under weed preventive fabric, and you name it. One scrape cut that grass growing over my border walls like magic. I just hope it stays as sharp as it is now. The one problem is that everything is on the cover is written in Japanese. I shall bring it to a neighbor to translate. It does warn you that it is a sharp object in English, but I don't know how to sharpen it, if I need to oil it, or anything else. Nonetheless, I am really glad I bought this. Being old and disabled, I can no longer get down on my knees to do yard work. The long handle makes this especially great.
