Overall pretty impressed with
Overall pretty impressed with the Ninja professional Blender 1000. Recently moved in to a new apartment so I’ve spent the last few months trying out a bunch of appliances and It’s safe to say Ninja is my new favorite.
I was used to our vitamix blender at home but wanted something a bit more budget friendly. It has plenty of power and looks sleek on the countertop!
The lid has a secure lid lock thing that sounds like a good idea but it honestly makes opening it much more complicated than it needs to be.

Powerful Blender
We absolutely love ths Ninja blender. We have used it to make smoothies and milkshakes. At times we've used it as a mixer. The best thing is how easy it is to clean. The only con is that the motor is very loud.

High power blender that works good until it doesnt
I received this blender as wedding gift two years ago and have used it about a dozen times since. It worked really well and made smooth soups and salad dressings. I was really impressed with how well it blended everything. My perception of the ninja product before I got was that it is a high powered machine that would be comparable or even better than my food processor. However, after using my Ninja a handful of times the bottom component of the blade that locks the pitcher into the base of the machine melted away/broke while making nut butter and scraped up the side of the pitcher. Not sure if it is worth spending all the money for the placement of the pitcher and blade. I have used my food processor dozens of times to make nut butters and have had no issues. Just really disappointed and questioning the quality.

Lots of power but container cracked!
I use this blender 1-2 times/month, and I like the power. I do not crush frozen items.
However, the bottom developed a crack and now leaks a bit when I use it.
Suggest that Ninja make the pitcher out of glass.

The best blender I have ever had. The most impressive feature is that the blades are not only at the bottom but spiral all the way up. The blades blend beautifully and make amazing smoothies. The price point is also on point. Highly recommend. Ninja 3 Speed Plus Pulse Professional Blender

We got this blender as a wedding gift and this thing is amazing! It works super well and blends basically anything. The blades are super sharp and the settings offered are perfect for your basic smoothies or blender needs!

Too bad I can give it a 0 rating
Since buying this blender 3 pitchers have cracked.
Before you consider buying this blender check out the number of reviews that mention the pitcher/container cracking. Some of these reviews go back years so this is not a new development for Ninja so why hasn't this problem been fixed?
Ninja considers this a Professional Blender?!

Started cracking after 2 months
Finally caved and bought a Ninja product... and am very disappointed at this waste of money. The bottom and sides have started cracking and I've only had this for a couple months. Just a matter of time before it starts leaking. Also blends poorly. Would not recommend.
