Rated 5 out of 5 by rockn grecian The dress is beautiful light and has drape and swing. Great for the hot weather where I live at but will transition well into the fall with a cardi or fur vest and killer boots. My complements to Nicole Ritchie. If she leaves qvc I will bu from your House of Harlowe line as I love the more fashion forward styles that she produces there. Ladies when determining your size you have to size down. I lisented to another review who said the dress runs under a different sizing not q sizing and the garment demensions are wrong with the garment measurements. Usually I go by the garment measurements but not this time. I normally wear a m or L but based on another reviewer I ordered the s and it fits perfectly the m would have been too large. Definitely call qvc cust service to find out the alternate size chart especially if you are well endowed as for me I am a small b so I did not have to take into account the boobies. 07-14-15
Rated 5 out of 5 by Only empire cut that ever looked great on me I am 5'4" with a 34 inch inseam. The dress hits just a skosh above the floor, which, in my opinion is the perfect maxi length. The material is thin, but very soft and flowing. I would have purchased the xxs, but alas, sold out, so I purchased the xs. It really is perfect. I wear a size 2-4, although with qvc designers, I order xxs, and they fit. No problem with large armholes, or my bra showing. I wear a 34DD. So being a bit busty, empire waists look awful on me, making me look pregnant, and I am thin. It has t be the way you cinched it, how the seam is arched in the front, or something. But this looks fabulous. I got the rust color. It truly is beautiful. looks fab with a crop jean jacket or alone. 07-05-15
Rated 5 out of 5 by Size down -- but it's a great dress... I ordered the black and then came back for the other colors. This dress is very attractive, made of a nice soft flowing knit fabric. Feels like my favorite modal jammies. It reminds me of a grecian style. There is good coverage of bra straps and no gaping around the chest. It's a little low cut due to being oversized. I usually wear a 1x dress, based on reviews I went with an XL and I suspect a L would have worked as well. I am 5' 8" tall and have an hourglass figure. For me, the XL gave me plenty of room in the hips and comes to the ankle. The drawstring allows me to define my waist. I figure the smaller size would have fit fine thru the body but might be shorter, so I think I chose correctly for my needs. Very cool and breezy and the colors are different enough to invest in all three:) 06-01-15
Rated 4 out of 5 by Very happy with purchase Love to wear light flowing dress in summer without the heavy fabric. This is not clingy and therefore does not have a lot of shape, but with the style that is what I was expecting. As others have stated, size is way off. I am normally 1X and based on previous reviews ordered Large (so 2 sizes down). The fit was just what I wanted and adjustable with the ties. I am taller at 5'7", so the length for me is good. If you are looking for tight, form fitting this is not what you want. I am going back for blue and black before my size is gone. 05-11-15
Rated 4 out of 5 by Darling but very large I love this dress and ordered a large. I wear an XL. You can adjust the waist with the ties. It looks classy. You can not adjust the length or shoulders. I am wearing it now. Thinking about ordering a smaller one as I lose weight. I get many compliments. 04-11-15
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice but be Warned This dress is very pretty and the material is very comfortable BUT as previous reviews have indicated this dress is sized incorrectly I'm normally a large and this dress is swimming on me..I was going to return it for the next size down medium. But after thinking about it I decided to call QVC to get assistance since I really wanted to exchange the dress for the correct size. The sizing chart that goes with this dress is of "no help" when I called the customer service rep she informed me she had a different chart that she was reviewing so with the assistance of her and my cloth tape measure we were able to come up with a correct size for me which appears to be a small...i'm a little nervous about ordering a small but with the measurements I gave her and the feedback I received from the rep, small would be the correct size for me for this particular dress.. Going down two sizes has me a little worried...i'm hoping the dress works out again it's very pretty if the small fits..I purchased the cobalt. 03-13-15
Rated 2 out of 5 by Agonizing Return I absolutely love Nicole Richie's sense of style. I've been extremely satisfied with my other purchases. Nevertheless, I'm so torn over these dresses. First of all, the colors are vivid and exciting → especially the cobalt. I've gotten tons of compliments. It's just breezy, flirty, and unexpected. The paisley border at the bottom is lovely. Buuut...as others have mentioned, the top is a bizarre mess; it has a number of problems. My bra shows through the massive armholes, and the V-neck does not stay put. Lastly, the ties at the sides are not enough to prevent me from drowning in this dress; the sizing is way off. So do I: a) keep them and wear and cami underneath? b) send them back and forget the whole thing... $75 is way too much money to shell out on a problematic dress, or c) send them back and ask for a smaller size (but it still might fit strangely). I dunno...it's a quandary. I have to decide by tomorrow, before my time expires! 07-03-14
Rated 4 out of 5 by Pretty In Black Ordered Black and love it, but it runs big so I wish I would have gone down a size. Good deal for the price. 05-23-14
Rated 2 out of 5 by Cute, but to many problems Glad I read previous reviews prior to purchase. I am usually a Large, sized down to a medium and the fit was perfect. Positive - super cute maxi; Negatives - fabric is too heavy for a maxi. Dress was in my car for a few days and when I took it out of the package it felt damp from the heat. Imagine if you had worn it in the heat, ugh. The pull- ties on the sides cheapened the look of the dress and I just couldn't cinch it tight enough to look flattering. Seam runs down the center of the dress. I don't understand this on a solid fabric why the seams were not on the sides. Just too many negatives to keep. 05-15-14
Rated 1 out of 5 by Going Back Nice material but poor design. The dress needs more shaping than just pulling the two ties on either side. 05-12-14
Rated 2 out of 5 Disappointed I thought this dress would be a cooler fabric and fall nicely. It wasn't either, at least for me. 04-13-14
Rated 2 out of 5 by Nuh- ugh I ordered this dress in a Small when The small was huge on me! I could have easily worn a XXS...sent it back. The material is lovely though 03-21-14
