Rated 1 out of 5 by from Old Reviews I’ve owned many Nesco Roasters that I purchased years ago from other vendors as well as from QVC. Those were made in the USA. Like a fool, I gave those away. I always thought Nesco would be made here. Since they switched production to China, not too many years ago, they are not made as well. Many of the positive reviews on this QVC review site are about the performance of the older Nesco Roasters. That does NOT help those who need to know how the most recently produced Nesco Roasters perform. The most recent ones that I have ordered all went back because the quality is now missing. The legs bend easily and cause wobbling. The heating elements fail within a short period of time. The outside metal seams have gaps that expose inside insulation. The last one I ordered through another vendor had metal corners that were not smooth but buckled. Never had such inferior quality on my beloved Nesco Roasters. I’ve been looking on eBay for old ones made in the USA. These reviews posted about the older models should be removed. You should be allowed to review only the newer models which are now made in a China because that is what is being sold now.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from worst product ever I thought this would be the greatest thing since sliced bread. Boy was I wrong. The fiish on the interior of the cooking vessel has peeled off and into my food. I have probably used it 4 times cooking stews or a roast. I thought it would make cooking easier and unlike a crock pot I would have a temperature setting to use not just high or low. When the finish started coming off I tried the grocery store for the plastic liners that you can use in crock pots but they all say you can't use them with this type of cooker. So now I am wondering if I can line it with foil. In it present form it is no longer useable. What a waste of money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from ABSOLUTELY THE BEST EVER I personally have three of these roasters and preiously purchased three as gifts. I absolutely love these roasters. I cook everything from roasts to veggies in mine. My sister bakes a lot with hers. I am purchasing two more of these for christmas gifts as well as another one for myself.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this roaster! I use this thing at least three times a week. I cook pinto beans on 300 all night ( fill it up with water) and I never have to worry about burned beans anymore. I cook a roast with two packs of brown gravy mix (fill it with water) and let cook all day, DELICIOUS! I'm ordering another one so I can cook meat and beans at the same time. I had two of them but my husband stole one to take to work so they can cook pintos for lunch. He said order another one because we use it a lot. In other words I'm not getting it back.
