Rated 1 out of 5 by from We couldn't get it to sync with our Wifi We are all tech savvy and couldn't get it to sync with our Wifi after several tries....there is a 1800 number to call and they wanted me to dial in to allow them to access my laptop and control it but I wasn't comfortable with all that. The directions seem quite easy, you just need to be near your Wifi router, it picks it up then you move this to another part of your house as a boost to the Wifi connection....sadly we couldn't get it to ever connect, just lots of blue lights flashing. We ended up with something different from Target, 1/3 the price and it connected immediately. Maybe we got something defective, but we returned it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Rude CS from NETGEAR Bought this and had to wait to receive a new router. Had problem when hooking it up so my husband called CS. Wow what a mistake. My husband and I tried to connect this and , well the guy from CS (from netgear) said we had foreign stuff on our computer and would clean it up for $199.!!! I said no thank you, I'll get rid of it, and he started yelling at me no you can't! Wow! And added we must have gotten it from online shopping or banking! Really? Since the only shopping I do is QVC, and may I say, bought this from QVC! And we do have protection on computer. Needless to say back it went! Note: retire 31 year's in Telecommunications and CS

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great - Except One Thing I've had this awhile to extend my Netgear R8000 router - and I also recently added EX8000 extender which is worth the extra money. I have big house and this combo covers all areas. My only gripe is the EX7000 cannot be managed using the Nighthawk app along with the router and other extender. The EX7000 is supposedly a mesh extender and part of the "Nighthawk" line so I don't get why it can only be accessed thru a website. This is a big inconvenience and it's not obvious when shopping for an extender. I bought the EX7000 extender in 2017 thinking it would match my router so I could manage both in the app - but not so.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Netgear Does exactly what is should with both 2.4 and 5ghz signal well boosted round our 2 level, large home. We combined this with a Netgear Nighthawk RAX20 Router. We are fibre and get fast internet speeds 100down 20up which is as much as we can with our ISP package. The Nighthawk App is good as it shows you live internet speeds and much more. Worth buying together... or separately :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does the job Installed it a couple of days ago; so far, so good. Had a couple of issues using the WPS button so installed the extender using the "manual procedures" without any problems.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WiFi extender Extender was refurbished, seemed brand new to me. Had some issues using the Wps button to setup. I then used the web based program to setup. I had no issues doing so and I was able to fine tune some settings. I highly recommend this product.
