NETGEAR Nighthawk AC1900 Wi-Fi Range Extender is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 377.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cable modem router Transitioned from DSL to cable internet and higher speeds, and better coverage throughout the house without using signal boosters. Doesn't seem to run as hot as my older Netgear routers did. It is installed on the ground floor and the signal to upstairs is very good 2.4 and 5.0. Much better than when the DSL was upstairs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great I bought this because I have installed wifi security cameras and one was out on my detached garage. The signal was spotty. After installing the netgear device i had no problems. Well worth the money

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally wifi throughout the house I have a very long house and have made numerous attempts to get good wifi signal throughout the house. I had a wire running across my kitchen floor for years to a secondary router to boost signal...I've used numerous extenders and had limited success. I had a little trouble getting this to get both the 2.4 and 5Ghz wifi signals so I had to do it manually, but once I got them both I put the router in the kitchen and was able to walk to the furthest end of the house and close the door and still get 5 bars on my phone. Yay! So far so good. I am going to try moving it into another room where it will blend in better with the surroundings to see if it works as well, if not, it will stay in the kitchen and just get mounted on the wall.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great extender Works good for me. Getting 2 bars out door coverage 700' from home in rural area. Fastlane technology gives my speed back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great mesh wifi Great affordable mesh wifi. Works seamlessly with previous router and after you update the firmware is perfect for a mesh wifi system. No more do you have to transfer over to an _ext network! Same name for your wireless network throughout home. Must be able to figure out how to update firmware for the "mesh" wifi to work.
