Rated 5 out of 5 by from My father gets a lot of use out of his I had purchased a more expensive trunk extender for my father, years ago. He used it a lot but it eventually broke. Periodically, he talked about how much he missed using it after it broke. I couldn't find another one. So, I was happy to turn on the TV one day and see the Motor Trend Trunk Extender demoed on QVC. I ordered it, to the surprise and delight of my father. He says it is better than the more expensive one I bought him, previously. Stronger casing and wire. The light works. He has a Toyota Camry 2010.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I needed! Great item! I have been caught many times with the topper on my Silverado having to be held down with bungee cords or twine. Having this item with the light on there is awesome. Used it right away works perfectly!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Very Practical...... I ordered 2 of these trunk extenders and none of our cars or our son's cars can use them. My car is the oldest, a 2008 Toyota and my husband's and son's cars are newer. The problem is there is no longer a "latch" on the trunk or SUV rear door. There is nothing to hook this gadget to. Therfore, they are useless to anyone who does not have a latch. When shown on TV, a SUV was shown with a latch. Unfortunately, not all cars have them anymore. And, I had to pay S&H to send them back. Not a good purchase.
