Rated 2 out of 5 by from No support for ANT+ power meter bridging Unfortunately what could have been a great HR monitor for cyclists that use indoor cycling apps is a fail since it only bridges ANT+ speed and cadence. Given the number of power meter these days, this is a huge oversight. Will have to buy the 4iiii HR strap instead.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Needs Power Meter Compabibility I purchased the Mio Velo recently, as I am a Zwift tragic and wanted an ANT+ to BLE bridge to allow me to use my old bike sensors with the Zwift iOS program. The Mio Velo does its job extremely well and the bridging is fantastic and seamless n operation. HOWEVER, it does not have power meter compatibility, so cannot provide the full suite of bridging capability that many who use programs such as Zwift iOS are seeking. A firmware upgrade would surely see the Mio Velo become the most popular device in this segment, as it is reliable and well-priced. So, come on Mio Global - please give us what we need!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Device I have been looking for an alternative to the standard heart rate chest strap which feels uncomfortable while racing. The Mio Velo works great and is very comfortable. I don't notice it is there. Appears to track well with my chest strap so is also pretty accurate. It is still new but looks like a winner to me.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from May be great, but not for Android My wife bought this for my birthday. I am pretty tech savy, and I just could not get it to work. I was reading through the internet material on the MIO website, and it says that it is not longer compatible with Android since April 2014. Try something else I guess.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stopped working almost as soon as I got it. Opened box, charged it, successfully paired with both Garmin Fenix 3 watch & Bryton Rider 60 bike computer. Then turned on Mio app. on my phone & immediately asked to update firmware; agreed & process began. After 40 minutes it was still going on & blue light would not change & the unit would not switch off. Now does not work at all, blue light still on.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from when it works great Has difficulty in connecting to iPhone 6s, On the IPhone it shows that it is connected via Bluetooth but on the app it shows "nearby" but fails to connect almost 90% of the time

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Used Velo for 10 bike rides. HR monitoring is irregular and volatile. Max HR recording is wrong. I have tried it on back and front of both wrists. No difference. I wish it worked better. Back to the strap.
