Rated 4 out of 5 by from Looks well made, but had to send back Was very excited when it finally arrived. Took it out of the package and it was severely dented. Called QVC and they are sending me another one. Can't wait to use it though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product Bought this two years ago and it works great every time. We've smoked ribs, mac and cheese, brisket and whole turkeys in it. Never any issues what so ever. I thought the remote was a good addition but my husband doesn't use it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't waste your money Do yourself a favor, DO NO BUY ONE OF THESE SMOKERS!! I own a 40 inch Masterbuilt electric smoker. I have owned it for under 2 years and have only used it 8-10 times. It is kept under a covered patio with a factory cover on it as well. Shortly after I purchased it, I began having problems turning the power off and on. I realized that I could turn it on with the remote, so I began doing that. Now it is very difficult to set the temp or cook time with either the unit or remote. I’ve also noticed that it no longer smokes or burns chips at 220 degrees. I found an online forum with others having the same problem and telling how to cut out some of the metal nesar the heating element to improve on that. Both known, obvious design flaws. I called Customer support today. They offered to sell me a new control unit. (Gee, thanks). The lady I spoke with said she has the same problem with her unit and has to turn the heat up higher to achieve actual smoke from her smoker. So, when this thing works, it’s basically an outdoor oven.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Masterbuilt smoker junk Purchased this smoker about 2 yrs ago. Only used about 4 times. Every time I turned on the smoker it blew the breaker in my electric box. Called Masterbuilt and was told needed new housing and the cost was $250.00. I was very upset and refuse to purchase another one. Very little use and looks like this item is trash. Would not recommend to purchase again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't leave this outdoors Purchased unit and cover. Stored outside under cover and under overhang. I guess humidity got to the control unit, relays inside just chatter and unit doesn't work. Got 2 uses out of it. This unit needs to be stored inside shed or garage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My New Favorite Outdoor Kitchen Item I used my new smoker this weekend for the first time and it worked perfectly. I previously had a Cajun Injector that I really liked but this unit far surpasses my old one. If I had to find a complaint, it would be the remote control unit. It just isn't that useful. It's great if you are curious what the temps are but other than that, it's almost easier to just walk out and check the display. And DON'T hit the ON/OFF button on the remote during smoking, IT TURNS THE SMOKER OFF not just the remote unit. 8 lb pork butt smoked for 16.5 hours was perfect and 3 racks up ribs for 6 hours both at 225 were perfect.
