Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not good- poor quality control I was eager to receive this item but to my surprise I was shocked to see how this poncho had been sent to me. The poncho had obviously been worn by another customer who probably sent it back the way I received it, it came to me stuffed in the dirty and ripped plastic bag along with tissue paper that was crumbled and had holes in it. I am a long time customer of QVC and I do not appreciate being sent a return that no one took the time to make sure it was repackaged in a decent manner. Where is the quality control ?????? Do not charge me for sending this back!!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So, So soft! I purchased these at the beginning of last year. I fell from a ladder soon after and broke both my heel and my hip, requiring surgery. Long story short, I just came across my purchase after a year of recovery. I couldn't remember what they are made from (bought the black and camel), but because of how soft they are, I was thinking modal. As it turns-out, they are 100% merino wool, but feel even softer than my cashmere pieces. The reason for this review is to thank those who took the time to provide us with their opinions/experiences. The most important piece of information I read is: DO NOT WASH THIS GARMENT. So, when need be, I will take to the dry cleaners and hope for good results. Thanks, again, for the reviews since it is too late for me to return if it were to come apart in the wash.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DO NOT PURCHASE THIS ITEM.... ...UNLESS YOU NEVER INTEND TO WASH IT!!! I followed the washing instructions to wash in cold water on the gentle cycle. When I took it out of the washer to lay it flat to dry, it was unraveling in random places all over the garment--not just on the edges--but big holes in multiple places all over it. It's past the 30 days for me to be able to return this for a refund. I am VERY disappointed!! This was an expensive garment and it literally just fell apart! If you decide to buy this, I'd suggest washing it per the instructions as soon as you get it so if yours unravels and shreds in the gentle cycle, you'll be able to get a refund!! (White paper inserted under garment for photos below. The photos don't actually show how bad it REALLY is!)

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don’t Wash This Item Fell in love with everything about this sweater until I washed it. Followed the washing instructions exactly including the fact that I washed it inside a protective bag made for delicate items. Pulled it out of the bag and it had completely unravel in several places. I am just sick about it. First of all it was a very expensive sweater. This is why I follow the washing instructions so closely. This coupled with the fact that my expensive sweater is now nothing more then a rag. I don’t know who Martha has manufacturing her garments but I won’t be purchasing any more of them. Wish I would have read the reviews. I’m very disappointed with QVC because I thought their quality control was better then that and I’m disappointed in Martha because I thought her products would be quality especially for the price.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Unraveled In Wash Wore once. Washed in cold water on gentle cycle in a mesh bag. The poncho came out with yarn everywhere. The bottom had unraveled. Upon further examination, I found holes and frays all over the whole poncho.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful sweater Very pretty and soft sweater. I do wish it ran smaller. I usually wear a 1x and ordered the missy size and it is still larger than what I would expect it to be.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely Poncho!! This is a beautiful poncho in the softest of Marino wool (not scratchy), with a beautiful drape and in a gorgeous design. Very impressive!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best quality purchase PI purchased 2 : a gray & a beige poncho. Just tried them on in my AC Home as it's 90 and humid out now but I am very pleased with the texture of the ponchos. The wool is soft, not scratchy and the design is very pretty. They will be perfect for transitional season wear ie: fall & spring but not beyond as the arms are just cap sleeve length. I do wish sleeve were at a 3/4 length so they could be worn a little longer into cooler weather! But I am truly happy with there overall quality.
