Rated 1 out of 5 by from "Chain saw" doesn't work I fell for the hype. I saw the demonstration and Martha was out there trimming branches and made it look easy. My first issue is that it is a little tricky to put together, and the instructions are poor. But I did get it put together, and properly. I went outside with it to my partially broken branch, about 1 inch in diameter. It said to put it in contact with the branch and start it up. I did so, and applied as much downward pressure to the thing as I could from standing on the ground. I worked at it for about 5 minutes before stopping to take a look. It had made about 1/4" progress. I kept at it for another couple of passes, about 10 more minutes total. I got about 1/2" total. And now I was tired of holding the thing up. It's not for me. Maybe if you are a lot stronger than I am it might work for you. But I hated it. It was awkward and didn't work for me. I would have returned it, but the idea of the hassle of dis-assembling and trying to get it back in that box - forget it! I went to Home Depot and bought a regular HACKSAW. I climbed on a small ladder and with the hacksaw, was able to remove the branch in about 5 minutes. We called it the "Barbie chain saw" - no offense to Barbie. Seems like a piece of junk.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love it! Relatively easy assembly. Saws great. This is a good buy for a woman with little strength. Only issues: A bit too heavy for me; have to take breaks after 10 minutes. Needs lots of oil; must add every 10 minutes or so of use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works as advertised! I bought this for my husband to do all the smaller jobs around the yard. He has a love hate relationship with his yard power tools and I have seen a few pieces fly across the yard in his frustration. So I was worried about how easy this would be to assemble and use. To my delight my husband came to tell me it was easy to put together and easy to use! His only question was if he could get new blades when needed. Thank you Martha!!! Now those branches can get trimmed and saplings removed without climbing a ladder.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So easy I was going to use it myself as Martha did but neighbor didn't want me hit in head. He said he was looking out for me and tree limbs. Later said just wanted to use and he took it home to do his. Best price U researched and others only 10 ft. this one 14' now all neighbors want to borrow. I will use it to do tops of shrubs so won t have to hang off porrch. Definitely Italy recommend.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Heavy & cumbersome I'm a petite older person, so I thought this to be to heavy & cumbersome with the long pole. Directions were hard to understand on putting together saw blade. Not sure if it works well but not for smaller women.
