Rated 2 out of 5 by from Yes, definitely difficult to get on I purchased the Black Suede. I agree with other reviewers that this boot is definitely VERY difficult to get on and it shouldn't be for a high quality product. I would have preferred it to have an inside zipper access. I decided to work through it and with the help of a shoe horn I am able to get them on. They were a bit tight across the instep at first but after wearing a couple times, that has loosened up. I must say that once you do get them on they are extremely comfortable to wear through the entire day! It was exactly the heal and style I was looking for! I could do without the gold tone medal on the back of the heal or at least wish it was silver as that is what I tend to wear more of. I was going to purchase another color, but based on how difficult they are to get on, I will not.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful - almost perfect Loved the simple style and touch of gold on the heel. I was concerned about the other reviews and agree with other reviewers that they were difficult to get on. I wear 7.5 W or 8 M and the medium width seemed somewhat tight for me (no surprise). I used a shoe stretcher for a few days and finally wore them. I found them to be very comfortable (once stretched) and seem to be easier to get on each time I wear them. I bought the brown suede and am considering the black suede. If you love them... try them.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from too tight I have bought several other Marc Fisher shoes and loved them. I am a true size 5 and have difficulty finding this size and usually Marc Fisher is wonderful. These however were very very tight! Once I got my foot in the shoe there was no room for circulation and heaven forbid I should put a sock on instead of a nylon. So pretty I was sad to send them back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very comfy and very fashion forward Burgundy is a great color for the fall and I've been searching for a pair of burgundy booties with a reasonable heel for weeks now and couldn't find anything that was simple and chic...until I found this Marc Fisher pair. They're leather and have a stretch insert in the back which makes getting them on very easy. The suede is gorgeous and the dye is evenly distributed. They look expensive but weren't, something I love. It's great to get a bargain and even better when the booties are very comfortable. The heel is 3 inches, which is a great height for all day wear. The toe is a rounded point and the effect is that it makes my feet look more slim and narrow. There is a gold band at the top of the heel which is a nice, elegant feature. My usual size (8 1/2) was sold out so I took the chance and ordered an 8, which fit perfectly. So I would say that this style runs a half a size large. I'm also ecstatic that this boot was reduced from $129 to $74 and I was able to buy them on the 3 payment plan. This makes them even more attractive. I have worn them around the house for hours now and they are super comfy so I'll definitely keep them. I wanted a style that was very simple so they can be worn with jeans, pants and dresses and skirts. These fit the bill just fine. I highly recommend this style to anyone looking for gorgeous burgundy booties. I have a very elegant high end burgundy handbag that I've been trying to match with a pair of booties and these are exactly the right shade, not too red and not too purple, just perfectly on point. I have no purchased this brand before but am very impressed so far. I certainly recommend these booties highly. If you're looking for a simple but chic style in this particular color, you can't do better. These booties definitely get my 5 stars.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Too Much of a Hassle This is a beautiful boot. I purchased the Burgundy Suede and was surprisingly delighted with the richness of the suede. I couldn't wait to try it on. Well, I waited 20 minutes as I struggled to get in the first one. It was so comfortable and looked so good, I was willing to struggle with the other boot. I knew I wouldn't be slipping them on while rushing to get ready in the morning, but I intended to keep them anyway and wear them when I had time to fight to get them on. Alas, I just didn't have the patience to battle with the second boot for another 20 minutes. Back they went within an hour of delivery. A hidden zipper would have made all the difference.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Color not as shown. I had no problem getting in and out of these considering there is no zipper and the shape of the shoe is very flattering on the foot but I was hoping to get a rich burgundy red but instead it is alittle too dark and dull.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from VERY DISAPPOINTED... I was so looking forward to getting these and wearing them this Fall. In fact, so much so, I ordered 3 pairs of them when they were $51 & change. What a bargain...Just got them & cannot get them on so I have to return all 3 of the. So disappointed & now I just lost return shipping on top of it. The goring has some stretch but with the pitch of the ankle boots, they just don't work. The tab that the presented points out that can be used to help put them on has a loop too small to make it any help. I have a pair of Sole Society ankle boots that have no zipper & I don't have any trouble putting them on. I love everything else about this ankle boot including the gold hardware on the back. However, what good is all of the styling if you can't get them on? Not sure who they used as a foot model for these but can't be the norm. I don't have a large or wide foot either. I wear a size 6. Marc Fisher, I love your shoes & boots but please consider making these with a zipper.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of time What a waste of time this was! I should have listened to my other QVC shoppers, many of whom had the same complaint I now do. I have a narrow foot and I have had many pull on boots in my life, but this one is useless. It is a pity because it is so beautiful, but I had to FIGHT to get my foot into it and then I had it FIGHT to get my foot out of it. No way am I ever going to take the time to fight with a boot just before I hurry out the door when there are so many other gorgeous ones that I can get on easily. It is a pity that somebody didn't make the decision to spend the extra 50 cents per boot, or whatever, to put a ZIP on this baby!
