Rated 1 out of 5 by from Footbed Slope Slides Foot Forward, Small, Narrow Received these boots packed in a plastic bag--they were also shipped in one, as well. I'm not sure that these weren't a return, but I would think a $100 pair of boots would be worthy of arriving in a box! They also had a few random pieces of some white gritty stuff inside; I had to take them off and shake them out, which I found pretty annoying. I paid full price for a pair of NEW boots, after all. They definitely run small, both in length and width. The toe box doesn't have much height to it either. The footbed itself doesn't feel properly contoured; it slopes from the heel straight down to the front of the boot so that your foot actually slides forward. My toes are slid all the way up against the front while there's all kind of room back at the heel. It's uncomfortable and annoying! I'm going to try to see if an orthotic insert will help, but I'm more than a little concerned that there's not going to be enough height at the top of the foot to allow for the addition of a decent support. If it doesn't work, these are going back! It's really pretty tragic. The boot itself is really stylish and looks decently constructed--from the OUTSIDE. It's a real shame that the inside is so off. I hope I can get an insert to compensate for that weird forward pitch that slides my toes to the very front, because I already sized up!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Water “RESISTANT “ tag says not h2o proof Those of you who live in snow and slush under stand the difference between water resistant (a sprinkling shower) and waterproof can walk through 6” of watery slush and the boots permeable membrane keeps water out. I live in snowy winters. Says right on this boot...WATER RESISTANT, and there’s no h20 proof membrane I noticed. I ordered a half size up and glad I did as they run small. Poured water on the kitchen floor and they passed my SKID TEST. (I make a puddle and slide through it back and forth and the boots grabbed the ground well.) Bottom s we’re better than my h2o proof Totes which slid a little. I WAS ABLE 2 TUCK MY PANT CUFFS INSIDE. Won’t work in all day snow but cute for non snowy cold weather. There’s no thermaGRAM insulation so not 4 -0 but fashionable.
