About Elisabeth Hasselbeck
Elisabeth Hasselbeck grew up in Providence, RI. As a child, she always had a crayon or paintbrush in her hand. Through spending time at her father's architecture office, Elisabeth realized that art could be a career. Her early work can still be found in her childhood home where she was allowed to draw on walls.
Elisabeth spent summers taking courses at the Rhode Island School of Design. She credits her high-school art teacher for helping her with precision, balance, and perspective. At Boston College, Elisabeth sharpened her skills as a studio art major, working on large-scale paintings and technical drawings. During senior year, she created an independent study of industrial design and worked at Reebok designing shoes under a mentor. It was there that Elisabeth's passion for fashion took its first step.
In the pursuit of merging fashion with practicality, Elisabeth began working as a footwear designer for PUMA North America. She notes "working with great designers challenges you to push your creative limits, but within the scope of something that'll actually sell". She traveled to Italy and worked with factories to ensure that shoes were being made to specification.
Elisabeth has designed custom dresses, including her own wedding gown. In 2008, she created a cocktail dress inspired by the Peanuts character Snoopy that was auctioned off for charity. Currently, Elisabeth designs a collection for Dialogue® Fashions on QVC. Her sensibility, attention to detail, and ability to identify a consumer's needs are the qualities she brings to every piece.
