Rated 5 out of 5 by So Yummy - Love It! This is the first review I've ever written for Q (I've been buying from them for well over 10-years). I decided to write it because I absolultely love this coat - it is so yummy! One touch and you'll know what I mean. I had seen it on air one or two times before and was always on the fence. After reading the previous reviews, I took their advice and ordered a size down, an XS (I'm normally a size 6 so would have gone for the Small without reading the reviews). The fit is perfect in the XS! I've worn it almost everyday, and that's saying a lot for living in Michigan. It's actually quite a bit warmer than I would have thought too. You can wear it with jeans or dressed up, it looks great either way and makes you feel like a million. And the compliments received on the coat just add to that feeling. Highly, highly recommend - and definitely agree to Size Down one size on this one. Thanks for making such a beautiful coat Rachel. :-) 01-28-13
Rated 4 out of 5 by From cubicle to cocktails! This is the perfect faux fur.You can go from the cubicle at work straight to cocktails or dinner with friends. It's not over the top yet you can dress it up. I'm 5'8 with a 36DD bust. My usual size is an XL or 16. I sized down (per other reviews) and this was a good idea. If you want a slim fit, go for L. If you want looser fit, especially in the shoulders or arms, get the XL. I have thin arm and no upper arm bulk so this was perfect for me. The fur feels very soft. I've worn it with jeans and open and it's ultra chic. I have don't doubt it will look great over a dress. It was 50 degrees here in NC today and this was perfect. Very warm without too much bulk. The only reason it did not get 5 stars was because the left pocket was sown weird and I can't get my hand in completely. But my mom can fix that for me so I'll be fine. 01-16-13
Rated 4 out of 5 by looks like $$$$ No one will believe that this is not real. This is a beautiful coat for the upcoming Chicago winter. I only wish the closures were not plastic/metal, but invisible fabric ones in her original vests. Also the coat could have used an a-line cut as the mixed fur hits me at a weird spot since I am petite and short waisted. I really hate that it looks like no more new RZ items are coming!!! 12-18-12
Rated 4 out of 5 by Sophisticated and on trend...mixed fur I purchased this after looking at it for weeks and I finally took the plunge. It does run a bit big but I got an xxs instead of my usual xs. I did not need another faux fur and was ready to return it if it was not beautiful...but of course like all the Rachel Zoe pieces it is fabulous! I do think that the sleeves are one inch too short for me but it's barely noticeable. BTW I am only 5'3' not tall at all. 01-07-12
Rated 5 out of 5 by SOPHISTICATED STYLE I bought this and was prepared to send it back, however, I was delightfully surprised. This is a very chic - modern - coat that is actually comfortable to wear. I also have a longer faux fur Zoe coat with a faux chinchilla collar which I love. My only suggestion to Ms. Zoe would be to make the sleeves foldable so you can adjust the length some. I need to shorten the sleeves about 1.5" but hate to lose some of the detail. I may just wear it fingertop length. Perhaps she can start the arm lining a few inches up so the sleeves can be turned some without showing the lining. Other than that I am very happy with this purchase and will happily try out more of her faux furs. 12-17-11
Rated 4 out of 5 by Overall Happy Overall I am happy with this coat. It is a luxurious feel but like my other RZ purchase it tends to run a bit big. After learning that with my first purchase I tried getting this in an XS but could only get S. there is definitely room for sweaters and layering so I kept it because I love the coat so much. A narrower smaller fit would probably look better but this is practical for walking through the city at Christmas and looks very rich. If it was more of a summer/spring coat I probably would return it for being too big but you can definitely get away with the extra room in a winter coat. The two toned fur is a great look and I receive many compliments. What I have learned from RZ purchases, go down a size whenever possible. 11-28-11
Rated 3 out of 5 by Its a Pretty Coat After reading the reviews and talking to a c.s. rep I decided to size down from a M (my normal size) to a S. It was a good decision because the small fit fine. I don't like the fact that designers like RZ don't standardize their sizes. The last coat I bought from her was a M and it fit like the S in this coat fit. I don't think it is fair to the customer to have to guess what size to buy every time you make a purchase from the same designer. Those shipping costs add up if you have to return the item. Other than that I love the coat. 11-18-11
Rated 3 out of 5 by More Shape Please! I ordered this coat in my normal 1X, and I feel that it fit like a coat should through the shoulders. Extra room for sweaters, if you would like. If you like a fitted coat, then you might go down a size. Although I didn't feel it was over-sized, I was disappointed in the shape of the coat. In the online picture and on Lisa Robertson, it appeared to taper in around the waist more than it does. It would be much more flattering if it was about 4 inches smaller in the waist, then flowed out from there. The coat is beautifully made, but I felt more like a bear than a diva in it. Also, it would be nice to see more of these designer garments on plus-size models during the presentations. As you probably guessed, my coat is already on its way back. I'll keep looking.... 11-16-11
