Rated 5 out of 5 by from Who knew Faux de Chine would be so wearable? Ordered a Faux de Chine blouse and this pleated skirt to wear together. First time trying Faux de Chine - and was hesitant. I'm pleasantly surprised! It's a lovely fabric and probably wearable for three seasons in mid-American, which is amazing with our extreme temps! Will continue to watch the Linea line for Faux de Chine, as well as my all-time favorite: full needle Whisper Knits! LDO exceeds my expectations with his designs for each show. What a joy it is to watch his programs and continue to learn from such a talented man. BTW: I don't recommend clothing since we're all so individualized in our tastes and choices. LDO is the only program I watch live on QVC.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Classic I got this skirt in the adobe color. It is the perfect length. It is a classic design with lots of potential. The color is beautiful. It was slightly wrinkled and the washing instructions say no ironing, so I steamed it being careful not to get too close to the fabric. Most of the wrinkles came out. It is fashioned of light weight fabric so just dress accordingly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this I never write reviews! But I just got my order and I am so happy I ordered this skirt and the matching top, in Navy. All the colors are beautiful but I like how I look in navy lol. The material is flowing and the pleats incredibly make me look slimmer!! And I'm a 2x!! The color is deep and saturated. I will be back for the other colors!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointing I was just starting to get really excited about the Linea line from Louis...now I have hit a bump in the road. I saw this skirt online a bunch of times and saw it presented on air at least once and maybe twice. I thought I would take a chance. I ordered the navy in my usual size for the Q of "large." It fit fine. I am 5'8.5" tall and usually wear a 16 bottom. This was not tight or uncomfortable. My issue is that I don't think this was a value (the "v" in QVC). I got it at a reduced price, if I remember right, but it was still at least $42 and then with shipping, it was at least $45. It is just a think piece of polyester (90%) and there is no lining. I did not really expect a lining, truthfully, but I expected the piece of fabric to have a little more substance than this does. I am sorry to report that although I like a lot of Louis' items and although I agree that (although I am hippy) this did not make my hips look like they were bulging out, I do not think "love that" when I see this. Sometimes I even look at stuff when I open it and am non-plussed but then put it on and think "Yup... that'll work!" This would work but I have other navy skirts that do slim me more than this one and cost less (plus I already own them). This one is going to have to go back. If it were a more substantial fabric, I would have kept it. I have a wool one from Charter Club or Talbots that is a better skirt and would actually have a chance at keeping my legs warm on a winter day. This is so thin I would freeze. It may only be meant for fall (looking at the color choices it seems autumnal) but the fabric is for summer! I could see someone wearing this to a yacht club or a polo match or a garden party... but keeping it in the closet from Oct to April. Sorry, Louis. I am a fan of the numerous other items of yours that I have ordered but this one didn't do it for me.
