Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this item This is the best thing ever for my husband who loves to do all the yard work. He can stand up and clip the grass without having to kneel on the sidewalk with clippers.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst purchase ever This item does not cut well for long before becoming very dull. Can’t handle thicker rose bush stem. Also the handles closes to close together fought my nails and broke one down to the quick. And even when the knob is turn tight to set the position of the blade it moves out of position anyway. Poor craftsmanship.the only thing I can say good about this product is that it is light weight.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Buyer Beware! Today was the second time I used this to only trim the top of a small bush and trim grass around a flower bed. Now the blade will not hold in either position. When I attempted to tighten in place, the knob fell off and no matter how you reattach it back on, it will not hold. I have to agree with other reviewers that this is a piece of garbage. I called to ask about returning and was told to return marked as defective. Unfortunately, I don't have the box anymore so she said to take it to the post office to have them package it. I'm sure this will cost me as it is one long piece. Usually keep the boxes but not this time as it did work the first time. That won't happen again. IF I do order anything in the future, I will keep the box as I do the receipt. Have to agree with other reviewers that the quality has disappeared from QVC, letting down their long time customers. Would give this no stars if allowed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed The idea of these shears is great, I just wish they worked well like they are supposed to, the blade kept twisting to the side no matter how you tighten them, I don’t know how much it would cost to return so I may keep them but save your money and don’t buy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of Money I thought these were a great idea so I wouldn't have to bend down to trim some ground cover. I could not control blades. The adjustment knob screwed off. These are not user friendly. I tried for 10 minutes, but ended up trimming by hand. Sending back.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does not stand up to a real gardening project These shears cannot prune a bush, a branch or a hedge. If you need a real gardening tool don't waste your money on this. I honestly tried it on several of my gardening projects and all I got done was a pulled chest muscle from having to lift and "chop" over and over again since the shears can't cut a thing. Sorry QVC, my first order and my last, sold the darn thing at my garage sale
