Smaller than expected
Really wanted to love this bag. The presentation made the bag look more of a square shape but its more of a bucket bag. Sadly going back due to size and shape. I don’t feel it’s worth the money.

Love It, Keeping It
I got the white with the beach chairs. I am happy with the quality. I cannot see thru mine. The stitching is as I would expect, part of it is chain stitched which I also expected. Seems plenty sturdy to me. The rope handle is great, goes all the way under the bag.
Is it overpriced? Yup, but I knew that and was willing to pay it. This is a novelty item and once in a while, I indulge.
Shipping is high, but no one I know thinks QVC is on their game anymore with respect to shipping. Items arbitrarily put on waitlist,back order etc. Just not the service we have been accustomed to for years. I have adjusted my purchasing accordingly. That is a shame.

I ordered the bag that is white with chairs, the bag is very well made and design is great. I knew that it had no pockets and was just gonna put a organizer inside of it. I was going to use it as a casual summer bag, but I guess because it's white you can see thru the bag. You can see the print on the organizer, as a pool or beach bag it would be perfect, but not as a everyday handbag. It could be used for farm market or groceries, but that's a very expensive grocery bag. Not sure if I will exchange for a dark color. I agree with not understanding the shipping cost being so expensive, the bag doesn't weigh much at all, plastic bag, bag not wrapped and folded an put in my mailbox. Also, I was a little concerned that the rope handles would be scratchy on my shoulder, but, no, it is very comfortable, not scratchy at all.

Nice, but....
The size is ok, not overwhelming, will hold a couple towels etc. Like the rope handle. The pouch is too small for my iPhone, ok for ID and money. But you can't attach it to the bag. I can't get used to the lack of organization. There is none. Zero. Just an empty bag. After years and countless Lug bags I'm used to pockets, and being organized. A place for everything. This is definitely not that. I knew it. But didn't know how spoiled I was by Lugs organization.
The biggest problem is the stitching on the bag, very very large stitches that already look loose. They are very uneven, bunched up, and look ready to pop with the slightest pressure. Actually gathered and puckered badly in some areas.
I'm just not excited, should say underwhelmed by this bag. It's no where worth the cost, and the shipping was a joke. I received it in a torn filthy bag, no inner plastic, not wrapped. Just thrown in a unmarked white bag, again, a big hole in it, and filthy dirty. For the cost of shipping I expect at least a box.
Bottom line, returning.

So Excited! Bag to last a lifetime!
I’m so excited to get my first Sea Bags of Maine! Yes, they are an investment, but they are hand-crafted in the USA, made from recycled sail material that is light as a feather, but can handle gale-force winds and will last a lifetime. I also love Life is Good which always reminds me to be happy and grateful. I can’t wait for my first Life is Good Sea Bags of Maine! Yippee!

Addicted to Sea Bags!
I own several bags from Sea Bags, and I felt the need to write a review due the 1 star review that was given. These bags deserve 5 stars, NOT HEAVY AT ALL, they are extremely lightweight. The only weight you will feel is the weight you add to it with your items. These are handmade with love in the USA from the material of actual sails. They are unique, sturdy, easy to clean, and absolutely beautiful! I ordered 2 of these limited bags that Life Is Good is offering...... I wish I could get all 4!! You will not regret this purchase, you will be wanting to add to your collection!
