Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fun for everyone! I am a speech language pathologist on an early educational testing team that works with children aged 3-5 to determine developmental needs. The majority of our testing is play-based, so we have LOTS of toys on hand. This toy is both visually appealing and interesting to children. The Bake and Learn set has been so much fun to use with the children we see. It inspires imaginative play while allowing us to ask questions related to their pre-academic growth. The kids love to hear new vocabulary words and use them in a real life context. Baking is something fun to do with family and friends and the children seem to enjoy talking about birthday cakes, measuring, shapes, colors and numbers with this set. The product is high quality, durable, and easy to clean, so it should last us a long time!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Educational Addition to play food This set is great if you are starting out collecting pretend food or in addition to the ones you already have. Not only is it great for playing pretend, it is also great for learning numbers, letters, shapes and colors. I like how this toy touches on many different learning aspects - I just wish they were somehow able to add all the letters of the alphabet and not just the first 4. Both my 3 year old and 15 month old enjoyed playing with this set. The 3 yr old enjoyed the brownie puzzle and looking at the different shapes - while the 15 month old had fun pretending to eat the food. Everything is made of materials that can withstand use from kids. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Multi-faceted fun! My 14 month old pushes the brownie shape pieces out and back in which is encouraging her fine motor skills. We spend a lot of time talking about the numbers and colors on the cake pieces. This is a very well made set and there a many educational and fun ways to play with it. I received this gift in exchange for an honest review. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 3 Kids are Fully In Love I have 3 children, ages 6, 4, 2. I also run an in home daycare and have children ranging in age from 6 months to 6 years old. My 2 and 4 year old boys really enjoyed the toy. I think it will greatly benefit my 2 year old son in just a few months when he starts learning his shapes, colors, and numbers. He really enjoyed playing with the different shapes and matching the star to the star form, the circle to the circle form, etc. It is a great toy for for fine motor skills. My 4 year old son loved playing with it too but the educational benefits of the toy were a bit too easy for him. I did enjoy that the different educational games you can play with the children range in difficulty so all aged children can play. I tested my son's counting skills on the cake (object recognition) which was really nice to utilize. My 6 year old daughter has been interested in baking recently and she instantly fell in love with the toy even before opening it. All the games were a bit too easy for her but she still loved being able to play with them. Pretend play is a huge part of cognitive development so I am glad that this toy can encourage this. I love that this toy offers gross motor skills, cognitive development, object recognition and so much more, all in one toy. I really love that about many Learning Resources toys. (My daughter started using the toy as a playdough toy and started using the molds, and actually doing some pretend baking with the toy. I don't believe this is the intended purpose of the toy but it definitely works! It also kept their attention for quite some time and they were able to utilize the different educational aspects of the toy in a different medium).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this product! This baking set is so fun and interactive my toddlers were taking orders and baking brownies, cakes and cookies all while identifying the shape cut outs, numbers and letters. I'd definitely recommend this for any parent who likes fun educational toys for their children. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from We loved this product! My 4 year old was so eager to play with this kitchen set the moment she laid eyes on it. She is always looking to role play and this set did not disappoint. The best part for me is that we were able to incorporate educational concepts into our role playing. We played bakery and she was able to sort the food by colors and shapes. My 1 year old also enjoyed playing with this product. His favorite part was fitting the shapes in the correct spot. It was nice to have him work on his fine motor and logic skills. This truly was fun for the whole family. As a parent I am always looking for quality toys that are going to last. This set is durable and can withstand long term use. I also appreciate the sturdy box that it comes in so that we can easily keep the pieces together. I most definitely will be recommending this play set to my friends with children! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Time to make the cookies! I love that this set makes cake, cookies, and brownies. It encourages imaginative play and learning. The brownies have removable shapes. The cookies have letters and the cake has numbers and layers for counting. The pieces are realistic and colorful. They are sturdy and withstand many little hands, and the occasional mouth, playing with them in the classroom. It's a great addition to our regular kitchen area, giving them items that teach while they play. My students are really enjoying this baking set. I would highly recommend this set for the little bakers you know. This product was given to me as part of an incentivized review program.
