Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Quality I was looking for this size casserole dish with a functional lid of some type. The emerald is beautiful and the lid, while shallow, works well also in the oven and have used it for biscuits and cinnamon rolls.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Buyer BEWARE !! They show the Le Creuset video of the the factory in France , They talk about the RICH FRENCH HISTORY of LE Creuset . They talk about the factory which has been open since 1922 . BUT , when I got this product at home , There were ' MADE IN CHINA ' stickers on the box, the baker lid, and the baker itself !?!? HEY QVC , HEY DAVID and the other show hosts , HOW ABOUT TELLING THE PUBLIC the TRUTH about the product ????? VERY MISLEADING !!!! POST THIS !!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good but not what I hoped for The platter is very shallow for baking but lovely for serving. The side of the baker had a scratch on the exterior upon arrival, which was disappointing but not worth returning as it's still functional. The cassis color perfectly matches other cassis pieces I have. It was nice to find a baker/platter in this color, and it will get a lot of use.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from France? This was pretty bad for the Q not to tell people where this was made. France is where all my La Creuset is made not this piece. False advertisement so I am sending this back to the Q. The color is beautiful Green!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Le Creuset Quality Stoneware! First of all, allow me to assure you that the quality of Le Creuset stoneware pieces--all of which are made in the Far East, not France, under Le Creuset's exacting specifications and supervision--is superb. Only Le Creuset cast iron is made at the foundry/factory in Fresnoy-le-Grand, France. Various other Le Creuset products are made in Thailand, England, China, Switzerland, and Portugal. They are all Le Creuset, all genuine. The disappointment and concerns of other reviewers are quite surprising to me in view of the fact that Le Creuset is very open about having manufacturing sites in multiple countries. This information is on the Le Creuset website and anyone who cares to look will easily see this information. Why on earth would would manufacture silicone products or stoneware at an iron foundry? If you only want Le Creuset which is made in France, then your collection will be entirely limited to cast iron. I purchased two of these bakers with lid sets, one in Caribbean and one in the new Emerald color. The gradient colors on the Emerald pieces are quite dramatic ranging from a very deep tone into the brighter green, much like on the cerise pieces. The effect is striking rather than subtle. I bought it with the idea of having a larger casserole that works particularly well for my holiday dinners, feeding a larger group. I see turkey dressing, or sweet potato casserole, holiday green beans. It will be just right. The Caribbean set is just plain old pretty, and that turquoise color makes all food "pop." Both sets are lovely and perfect, exactly as all my other pieces. I have a large collection of both Le Creuset cast iron and Le Creuset stoneware, much of it purchased from QVC. The quality is exceptional, as are the prices. I love all my Le Creuset. Thanks QVC for bringing unusual pieces at wonderful value.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best pocelain, china & stoneware IS made in China Following is from reviews on Le Creuset website - Wonderful and here's why they are not made in France Submitted 1 year ago By CCH from Chicago I know that everyone freaks out that these aren't made in France but in China. Here's the thing: China has the best clay on this Earth (hello, Ming Dynasty vases?!) You literally cannot find better clay which is what pottery is made of. Now, to ship that clay back to France just so it can say made in France means the price of the ceramic wear would be almost unaffordable. This is why you need to know history and research what you are buying because it literally makes no sense to say these are inferior because they are made in China...where the best pottery is made.
