Rated 1 out of 5 by from Description Should Say "Pancake Powder" I know it suppose to be matte but, this went beyond. This was like pancake powder on your face. The color was flat and looked like chalk. I ordered the light shade because medium is sometimes too dark but, it looked awful. I had to wash my face right away. I'm returning it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great airy coverage Since they aired this product, I have been using it and I love it! The foundation is very light and you can barely feel on your skin, however, it does provide really good coverage all day! I've always had issues with foundations because I have yellow and red undertones to my skin. This works really well for me and anyone else that would want a beautiful coverage with no makeup, light and or heavy makeup.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Foundatiojn I can't say enough great things about this foundation. The color matches my skin extremely well (I am a light), and it really covers marks, dark circles and anything else I want to hide. I use Spackle as a base for my makeup and let it dry a bit, and then brush on the foundation and it is flawless. It doesn't seem to get caught in lines and wrinkles and really lasts all day. I have been using Laura's products for many years, and this is clearly one of my all-time favorites. I am on auto-delivery, but the product really does last a few months. Keep up the great work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fair Skin I have fair skin but not porcelain white. It is so hard to find the right shade, but Laura's Fair is always just right for me. A lot of brands have that really porcelain color as their fair and the light is too yellow for me. I haven't had the problems with the cakiness that others have had. I am not sure it would stay on in Georgia humidity outside, may have to use balance and brighten for that.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not For Me I am a recent Laura Geller convert and have been wearing the Balance and Brighten in fair. Prior to this, I had been using another mineral powder foundation that provides more coverage. When the Doule Take was described as more a full coverage, I thought I would try it. The color (fair) matched my skin very well, but I felt like it looked "powdery" on my face. The brush was very nice and I hated to return it, but I will stay with the B&B.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Dry vs Wet and Color Issue I truly wanted to like this product, as I have other Laura Geller products I do enjoy. First, the Dry vs. Wet -- There was no way I could use this foundation in the dry form -- even with moisturizer, it was like applying dried earth to my face. In one of the TV presentations, Shawn suggested a wet application and to really dunk your brush in water. I did just that -- and had fair coverage results. My main issue was with the colors. I purchased both the "Light" and "Medium" shades to take me from winter on into summer. The "Light" made me look ghostly and the "Medium" looked pancakey orange on my skin. I do have the Laura Geller Baked Balance -N- Brighten CC Foundation in Medium. I have had better results with it ~

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Don't bother with the brush I really like this foundation, it's the only one I've tried that has actually hidden the veins on my face. BUT when I tried it with the brush both wet and dry it was a disaster and I looked like I let my 8 year old niece apply my foundation for me. And yes, I did it exactly as Shawn instructed but there were still streaks every where and I'd have to go over it with the sponge. Then my friend suggested the Beauty Blender. The clouds parted and the angels began to sing! I'm still using my IT Cosmetics CC Cream, because SPF is important, then I dab the Double Take on the areas that need more coverage. If you have oily skin and want this as your main/only foundation I wouldn't recommend that. I wore Josie's SPF moisturizer and this foundation over it to a track meet, the weather was about 80 degrees and it was just sliding off, not a pretty sight. I gave this three stars because the foundation is great, but there's no point to the brush and depending on your skin type you can't wear year round.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT I have been a fan of Laura Geller cosmetics for a long time and was excited to try this new product. What a disappointment. It went on poorly and was all "cakey" on my skin. The brush was a huge disappointment as well. I have never had a foundation look like globs of powder on my face like this product did. Big, huge, gigantic disappointment.
