Rated 4 out of 5 by from I like it The short review: I like it, light coverage, does not cake up or irritate the skin. If you have oily skin like me--you will still have that issue. I did not find it to be drying. The colored primer may not work for lighter complexions, and does definitely have a gold glow--a little too much shimmer (again for lighter complexions this may be a problem). The long review: I have a few issues: hard to match complexion (biracial female), oily skin, and sensitive skin. And I don't like to fuss with my makeup after I apply it. I read many mixed reviews from people that loved and hated it. From people who said it was not good for oily skin, to people who said it was not good for people with dry skin. Here's my feedback as a person with oily, sensitive skin. First, the color, I was really concerned having not tried it on that the color would not match--as I'm often hard to math. I ordered tan. It works great. I think there is a little flexibility with the shades--many people can probably wear more than one (like with a lot of foundations, so I would I wouldn't stress that too much). For me, the shade chart online was good. Oiliness, yes I still got oily, but no more than with any other foundation. Less than with some. This is a fact of life for me. I used the primer and the matte powder, but still had some oil, but it didn't look so bad. I like a matte/shine-free finish, and I don't like to mess with my makeup, but I did have to blot/re-powder a few times. It last the whole work day, but with some oil breakthrough. If you touch up you'll be fine. It wore well into the night, but again, in T-Zone it seemed to wear off due to oil--but again, it did not look bad. I have sensitive skin. I didn't have any reactions, etc. It's very light weight--I would say light to medium coverage. I read you can build up--but it doesn't go that heavy. I put several layers on--not realizing it, because it truly feels like almost nothing on the skin (and I'm use to the foundation feel), and it didn't build up too much. Yet, did give some coverage. I have a small amount of hyper-pigmentation, and it did provide some light coverage. It's kinda like you but better--very natural. I would say it blurs flaws instead of covering them. It's more for an everyday look. The Stay Matte helps, but doesn't seem to last more than 2 hours or so for me--again I'm very oily though. While I have oily skin, because it's winter--and because of a recent product I used (again sensitive skin), I had some dry patches on my cheeks. I was sure this was gonna cake up--and it did not--despite several layers! I like the natural look, light coverage, and overall just really liked the product. I did not like the brush. I prefer natural hair bushes--this seems to be synthetic--and the shape is not the best for this product (hairs seem too long). Many reviews online say the same thing--people don't like the brush. I used with another brush (Real Techniques makeup brushes--very good and affordable), and was much happier with the coverage and less fall out of the powder (use your favorite brush). The brush included creates a mess/lots of fallout. You will probably like better with a kabuki brush/if you use other mineral makeup like one of those like Bare Minerals. For me the primer was fine, as it was very close to my natural skin tone, and I have gold undertones. So it looked pretty good actually. However, my fingers from applying it, looked like I dipped them in gold powder. It appears to have a lot of shimmer, and for lighter complexions than tan, I just think it will be too much. For tan--and probably darker complexions, I think it will compliment/highlight as it was intended to. I may wear alone at times. One tip may be to mix it with a foundation you don't love to add some shimmer and staying power to that foundation. Overall I can't say too much bad about the product--and this was my first time trying it. Quick and easy to use for an everyday, you but better look. I give four stars for the not so great brush that wastes a lot of product, and the primer, which has toooooo much shimmer in it. And it would be great if it was better at controlling oil, but this is about the same as most foundations. Shipping took forever, so if you have an option to upgrade the shipping I would. But yeah, this is my new every day makeup.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Overall I love the two powder products. I’m not a full face of glam make up every day so this is just enough to cover and give me an airbrushed look with almost 0 effort. The powder is buildable too. I think the brush is a complete afterthought. It reminds me of a brush you would find at the dollar tree and the primer ( which I have liked in the past) has a shimmer to it that I was not expecting. Next time I’ll just get the face powder.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great set I'm very happy with this set. Covers up all my colorful spots and evens out my whole face. Doesn't even look like I'm wearing makeup at all. Its a keeper.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Foundation Set...Period I have tried many foundations: Liquid, powder, serum,...you name it. This kit is by far the best I have ever used. I have acne/cystic prone skin with scarring and now some dry areas. This makeup does NOT clog my pores, covers, and is the perfect tone for my skin (I bought medium golden). I saw a Laura Geller spot and she was advertising a different kit that looked great, so I researched what was available. I have used other brands from QVC that didn't work for me. At first, I was sketchy when I used the primer. But, I put on the foundation and followed it with the matte powder and I was in awe. I have to use a concealer in certain spots, but so does EVERYONE when you need to cover an imperfection. Will buy again. It's like you take all the above types of foundations I mentioned and meld them together and won't fear a breakout or trip to the derm.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Impressed So, I received my Complexion Perfection 4 Piece Collection yesterday, removed the products from the box and didn't see an instruction manual. Seriously! Nothing on the back of the products as to directions...... Since I have not used a product like this before, I am unsure how to do it properly. Went on the QVC website to see if I could download the instructions and there are none to be found. Only a video. So. until I receive instructions, I cannot recommend this product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love Laura's Products I love Balance and Brighten as my foundation. I tried the B&B Glow but returned it. The original formulation is the best for me. I really like the matte finish (white powder) too. However, the spackle that came with this kit is awful. I looked like a bronze statue. I'll trash that but the rest is great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE! I am so happy with his set. I was nervous upon waiting for the order as some of the reviews were not so great about the sheen and how the product looked on face. I am tan/olive complected and the sparkle looks flawless on my skin. Its a great tinted moisturizer alone if you really just need to get up and go. The Balance and glow powder is also amazing. Its def not a lot of coverage and if you have areas of concern maybe not the foundation for you, but this just gives your skin that extra umf..without being over done. The setting powder does what it needs too and the brush is what i would expect to receive in the kit. Nothing special...i only use it for the setting powder but use a more fluffy brush for the foundation its self.
