Food glides effortlessly through the sharp, angled blade, and a simple turn of the dial produces cuts that are either paper thin, medium, thick, or very thick. Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works Splendidly but there are Issues This does an excellent job of slicing, particularly since you can go down to very thin slices to make chips of potatoes. My only complaint is the way you have to adjust the thickness. You need to turn a squared-off bar on the bottom and ever so carefully turn it so as not to get cut. It is not the most convenient way to have to deal with changing thicknesses. For this reason I keep it on 2mm and have relegated this slicer to making potato chips or anything else that needs to be very thinly sliced and why I have given it 3 stars.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not used. It appears to be very nicely sharp. I did not use as to not get it dirty. The handle needs to be a smigden longer & siliconed for my likeing. I thought the handle was non-skid, is not, so with wet hands & this short of a handle, it would not get used much & that would be a waste. I would also like a better gripper, this one is open & square which to me would be uncomfortable on the palm. I would appreciate a rounder solid gripper. It fits very nicely over a small to med bowl.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome cutting!! I have had this slicer for a couple of months, and am extremely satisfied with it's slicing ability. Firm vegetables like onions, cucumbers and carrots come out so thin you can see through them! My only concern, like the previous customer rating, is that I just can't figure out where it will adjust. There is no adjusting mechanism, and the blade is not moveable. Other than that, and it really makes no difference to me, as I really like the thin cuts, there are no complaints. I would recommend this product to anyone who likes thin cut veggies. It really does a great job!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from confused I bought this...looks exactly like the picture...but where is the dial? How do you adjust the blade? On mine there is no dial and no way to change the height of the blade..that I can figure out....Is this the right description for the product?....If it is the right description, then I am disappointed....If it is the wrong description, then I am ok with it. The slicer is super sharp and easy to use....but mine has no way to adjust the level of the blade....so did I get ripped off or not????
