Rated 1 out of 5 by from A total waste of money! I tried to whip cream with it and I had to do it by hand because after waiting 20 mins. for it to whip, I gave up! The 'high' position is like most 'low' positions on any other mixer I've ever used! I'm exhausted! Sure, it's whisper quiet, but frankly, My WP little hand mixer that's tiny does a better job! I am SO disappointed! I can't afford nor do I have the space for the tradition Kitchen Aid mixer. To me, this is an outrageous price for such piece of unbelievable junk!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from speed control & on-off In January 2020 I purchased a KitchenAid, 7 speed, hand mixer to replace the KitchenAid I have used for the past 20+ years. I wanted the same thing, and thought I had come close, however the design has been changed from the simple slider switch to a much more difficult and un-natural design. The need for thumb dexterity to push the on/off switch sideways is very difficult and un-natural. The push button that selects speed requires repetitive motion. Both of these motions are painful and difficult with arthritis in the thumb joints. Thumb joints commonly develop arthritis; mine began at age 35. I am very disappointed that KitchenAid would develop changes to make their product clumsier and more difficult and cumbersome to use for a broad range of ages and abilities. . Baking requires adding many ingredients gradually which means the mixer has to be turned on and off many times. I find this very cumbersome and time consuming to push sideways then move to the new button to press 3 or 5 or 7 times, every time I add an ingredient. I read the online reviews before purchasing but thought the noted problems would be relatively minor and that I would adjust. Instead, I am extremely disappointed in this mixer and find the difficulty unacceptable. Now I have to go buy a different brand that might be easier to operate.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love My Mixer I am so Happy that I didn't let the negative reviews discourage me from purchasing this set. I love it and the attachments are Not flimsy. Very nice set from KitchenAid. I ordered the Cinnamon Color which matches my large KitchenAid mixer. Those people on the fence what do you have to lose? If you don't like it for whatever reason Send it back. You will never know until you try it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very upset I purchased this mixer as a Christmas gift. It arrived in a brown, beat up packing box with labels and tape all over it. Inside was the mixer and accessories thrown in the box and not packaged in a KitchenAid box. This is totally unacceptable for gift giving and will be returned. It appeared to be a used or returned item. In the future, I will not be purchasing gifts from QVC. Very upset and disappointed with both QVC and KitchenAid. It is December 18th and I will have to try to shop for another mixer before Christmas and repackage this mixer and take it to the post office for return. This is the first review I have ever written in my 60 years. I may not be a QVC customer any longer. There are other options.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from My Kitchen Aid handmixer did not last long I regretfully have to say that this Kitchen Aid (KA) handheld mixer did not last long and only after occasional use to mix cake mixes and make mashed potatoes. The right hole where beater is inserted is broken. I read a review that someone had that same thing happen and had it just s short time so it is obviously a manufacturer defect. If I buy another handmixer I will sell or donate the KA chopper and blender because I like to have matching sets. I bought the blue turquoise colored blender, handmixer and chopper all at the same time from QVC after buying the KA 5qt stand mixer that was a Todays Special in black. I just bought a new ceramic bowl for it and hoping it lasts a lot longer than the handmixer.
