Amazing
I bought this in October and so happy I did. In all my research it came down to the bosch or kitchen aid. The horse power and reputation of the kitchen aid made this a no brainer. Bread making has never been easier. My family and I are loving the endless baking we are doing. Just a great machine. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

The warranty alone is worth the price!
This is my 2nd Pro Lines 7 quart mixer. I bough it 4 years ago and it was recently damaged in an accident. I called Kitchenaid to find out about getting it repaired. Because it was still on warranty, they replaced it! I got a brand new mixer AND 5 year warranty!
I was unable to bake while waiting for replacement (arthritis in hands) and I love baking yeast bread, which requires a lot if kneading. The Kitcheaid Pro Line 7 does all the kneading I can no longer do. My bread’s texture is better than when I was able to knead by hand. I’d give 6 stars if I could! Absolutely Amazing
Bought this mixer to replace my wife's classic kitchenaid mixer. It has plenty of power to mix about anything. I also bought her a meat grinder attachment which is able to grind meat without stalling the mixer. Its a bit pricey but well worth the investment.

Best mixer yet
I bought this through a special King Arthur Flour had going on. So very glad I did! I use it almost daily. Double batched of anything - not a problem. I started out with the 4 qt one - upgraded it to another 5 I think, then upgraded it again to the 6 professional (hated it because it was soooo noisy) saw this in the ad - and purchased it. LOVE it so much. Does bread wonderfully. Frosting can do 4 pounds easily and use the shield - no sugar poof. Even 'sold' a man on this model at a store after I told him of my history with Kitchen Aid. He was most happy. (Hmm and I didnt even get commission - LOL). I make double batches of everything and it is NOT a problem at all. I just got the ice cream maker for Christmas - cant wait to try that out.

Can do mixer
This is the 4th kitchen aid mixer I have purchased over the last 32 years & they all still work. I started with a 4 qt now I have the 7 qt & I can do anything I want with this mixer. Double batches are no problem. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I got this mixer to replace a 65 yr old KitchenAid Stand mixer that was given to my mother as a wedding gift. I should have kept it as I quickly learned new does not mean improved in this instance.
The bowl-lift makes it extremely difficult to scrap the bowl without removing not only the beater but also the bowl off the stand. The beaters do not reach the bottom of the bowl so I had to spend more money to get the scraper type beater only to find it changes the color of my recipes leaving white cakes/cookies/icings grey (Not sure what it's made of and it scares me.)
The splatter shield does not stay in place, & pops off during use. AND to make it even worse? It's less than 2 months old and the "Polished Stainless Steel Bowl" is already rusting at the handle!
The exorbitant amount that this mixer costs makes it highway robbery!

Love it!
I love my new stand mixer! My previous 6 quart proline stand mixer broke just before the holiday so I searched all over to get a new one quickly! I was able to locate one and my son was able to fix my old one do now I have two! I will pass my old one in to my daughter who also lives to bake!

SMorrth and Quiet operation...large capacity
My brother got this for me as an early Christmas present as I turn into the cookie making elf this time of the year and my older Kitchenaid needs a tune up. it purrs like a kitten and didn't have any issue doing double batches and was nice that all my other attachments worked perfectly.
