Rated 1 out of 5 by from No power Love all my kitchen aid appliances. This handheld has no power. It can barely mix a box cake mix. Had to return.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from lacks ultra low speed I have had mine for over 2 years. still working good. mine has more power than the real cheap onens and will last longer. got a deep red color that shows all the flower dust--looks grungy. the main problem is it does not have a ultra low speed. it starts too fast at its lowest speed. lots of splash when you start up. its now on sale for 33.00. it might be a good bye if you can stand high start speed. the new one has more speeds . I hope it includes a ultra slow speed. I don't feel the tv demos tell a true picture of the products ability. I am not a fan of David V and the short guy with the billy goat beard that sells copper chef. buyer beware.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Color glitch I bought the one called "cranberry". Have these people ever seen a cranberry ???? This is definitely something between fuchsia and ugly pink. Gross....and going back. Luckily , returning to QVC is easy and hassle-FREE.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Don’t understand bad reviews I purchased this over a year ago based solely on the recommendation from our friends at America’s Test Kitchen/Cooks Illustrated. I have used all the $20 ones over the past 50(!) years and while I do understand that this product is very different and maybe not what you have been used to, I will tell you that for Labor Day I used it for a recipe for mashed potatoes that took 5 lbs of potatoes, cream cheese, sour cream, butter and milk in a 9x13 dish with no problems at all. Done oatmeal cookies, small meat loaves (usually make 5pounds at a time in my KA 6 professional stand mixer which yes is just is too much for this hand mixer). Just because it feels different from the cheap ones doesn’t mean it is inferior. Like it so much am awaiting the 9 speed -in pink!- only for the different beaters. I trust America’s Test Kitchen reviews and opinions and haven’t been disappointed. Hope the new 9 speed is just as good, although ATK didn’t see the need for all the extra speeds. I’ll review my 9 speed when it arrives, been through Florence this week (fortunately in SC not NC) so may not get it as soon as anticipated.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed, no power I bought this a while back. This is my third hand mixer. I got the others at department stores for half the price. Unfortunately, this does not have as much power as those did. So back to the store. I gave it a few months hoping to like it to no avail.
