Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste Of Money Used this 2 x and the inside heating element melted/burned. Of course it past the time for return and I’m out over $300. Totally disgusted

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for Rice I got this right before Christmas and it works really great for slow cooking and rice. I got the stirring arm and I definitely would not recommend it. It just doesn't work that good. One of the problems is that it doesn't hold the temperature without the lid on. So if you are searing meat for beef stew, it doesn't stay hot enough if you are stirring it - it is too heavy for the stirring arm and it shuts off after a few seconds so the motor won't burn out. It worked better to sear a pot roast and then slow cook it. It does work really good for cooking rice - it comes out perfect every time. I don't think I would recommend it to a friend because it is expensive for what it does. Also, I did not receive a recipe book. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Hasn't Gotten Used Much I was looking for a lazier way to make my yogurt after breaking my arm and this seemed like the perfect answer. I had to return the first one as the settings would not work, but even the second never reached the proper temperatures for the proper times for yogurt, and was more bother than it was worth constantly using a separate thermometer. The stirring tower wasn't necessary for my other recipes, but okay for chili. It's more complicated than most other multi-function cookers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simply "Marvelous" Initially I was a skeptic about the ability of the multi-cooker to discharge its various features. I was so wrong... It discharges each task with ease and efficiency. Moreover, I have found that it replaces a number of other kitchen appliances/cookware - eg. slow cooker, cast iron dutch oven, oven roaster, etc - in my kitchen. Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bad Temperature Regulation From day one this cooker can not keep the temperature on the display. I have two digital lazier thermometers and they both show issues with the cookers thermostat. Have to keep a constant eye on this cooker to monitor the temperature. Bad, overpriced KitchenAid junk.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Beware This Defective KitchenAid Product! I purchased and received this thing on April 25, 2017. I've used it maybe 4 times. Today I started preparing bar-b-cue shredded beef. Everything was going well, display working and responding, stir paddles doing their thing, all was well. I stayed with it until I saw it starting to simmer then turned the temp down. Left the room, returned to check progress about 1/2 hour later. There was NO progress! All was dead. I checked the breaker panel and tried another outlet. No good! It had died! It's now in a box and of course it's Saturday so I will have to wait until Monday to call KitchenAid. Good thing I have many sizes of pressure cookers as it's too late for the slow cooker. Something nagged at me not to purchase this, but I ignored that something. I should listen better!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed I've had my Multi-Cooker almost a year. I loved it! Loved it so much that I recommended it to my friends and coworkers who in turn also purchased one. Here I am 11 months later and the unit suddenly stopped keeping the temperature. Yesterday I put a 2.5 lb pork roast in the cooker on low for 7 hours. An hour later, there was no power to the unit. I was able to get power restored to it (not sure how) and it never kept the temperature after that. I cut the meat into several chunks and put the cooker on high. A couple hours passed when I checked on it and it was at 102 degrees. Twelve hours into the process, I decided to throw the meat away due to the various heat fluctuations throughout the day. Tonight I'll be throwing the multi-cooker in the garbage. I spent good money on a good brand for good quality and am less than pleased in the results.
