Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good "All Weather" Boot These Khombu boots are fine for all but the coldest winter days. Best as the snow melts, creating slushy conditions...hence the description "water resistant". Once the water turns to ice in very cold temperatures, you will need a better insulated (probably leather) boot. My normal shoe size is 7N so I went up to a 7 1/2 (as I always do in a boot or athletic shoe) and they fit fine, with plenty of room for a 3/4 length shoe insert to add arch support and still be able to wiggle my toes wearing warm thick socks. The upper part of the boot is soft and pliable so no break-in time is necessary. I would have given them five stars if they had more cushion or insulation and better arch support.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Don’t mind these! Okay I saw the reviews at first and I was a little skeptical about buying these but I just got them today and I really like em! I’m normally a 9.5 and I bought the 10W and they fit me wonderfully! Even with a fuzzy sock they fit! Not sure about the memory foam inside but besides they’re super de duper warm! Will be great during th winter time! If you can just size up and you should be okay!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Fit is WRONG Returned these a couple months ago. First, the 2 stars are for the fact that they are cute. I am a regular size 10. I ordered the WIDE size 10 to be able to wear thicker socks. LOL...These fit tighter than a regular size 10 without a thick sock. I, personally, am sick of paying return fees for sizes that are not described correctly. It would have been easy enough to recommend sizing up in the description of the boot. Done with buying footwear on line.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Miss for me too...sorry Runs small (short for the size, I wear a 10W, big toe touched the front curve of the boot), wide not very wide at all, no insulation and the memory foam is not that comfy at all. So unfortunately these are a miss for me. I'm from Wisconsin, and these weren't even warm on a 30 degree day. I do wear name brand shoes (Clarks, Birks, Dansko, Born, Merrell, Keen, Naot, Sorel, Baffin, Saucony), however, these are just not worth the money. The style IS cute, they do make your foot look smaller, but there are other better boot choices out there. I would call this more of a water resistant (title) city/fashion boot. Not really for serious weather wearing (cold or snowy).

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Make a tweak, Khombu designers Designers so often miss the important details. This are great boots and I wanted to keep them, but the designers have specified a label to be sewn into the inside heel of the boot, so one is stepping on a label that, in my pairs' case, had a tiny point on the corner that could not be reached to be snipped. Every press of my heel felt like a pebble in the shoe. Such a simple thing! Why a sewn label? Why on the foot surface? Just thoughtless. Returned. AND I LIKED THEM! But returned.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Runs short I am an 8 M and my toes reach the edge. I wish they would let customers know this when presenting.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Run Small and a bit Narrow I ordered 9 Wide to wear with socks. My toes touched the ends so I am exchanging for 91/2 Wide. If they are too short, I will try the 10 Wide. These are so cute and comfortable it's worth it. The seaming detail on the toe box of the Light Grey make my size 9 feet look like tiny size 6: very flattering. As far as width, my feet touched the sides of the boot in thin socks so I'm glad I chose Wide, but my feet are not tremendously wide. The shaft opens up and my feet easily entered the boot. The laces are easy to tie. Inside down by the toes, there is not really any "warming" material; it is like a thin layer of felt. Not sure if they will be warm, but I will wear socks and they are waterproof, so I think I'll be ok. They look great with boot cut jeans over or with leggings tucked in.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Waterproof but not warm Wore these boots in 4" of snow today and they definitely kept my feet nice & dry but NOT warm. There is a thin layer of flannel type material in the foot bed/toe box area, but the sherpa type material only covers the shaft. Also, they fit quite snuggly. I bought my normal size 9W and the they are definitely on the narrow side & snug even with a thin sock. The heel area is pretty loose, though. Length wise, the fit is perfect, but if you plan to wear thick socks, definitely size up!
