Too flimsy
The material is so soft & flimsy, it reminds me of slip material. The neck area droops in an unattractive way because there isn't enough substance in the material to hold it upright. The material attracts static, which in turn causes the top to cling & accentuate areas of my body I would rather hide. The belt won't stay in place or stay tied because it's also made of the same cheap material. Back it goes.

Pretty
This blouse is as pretty and feminine as it looks. I'm glad it came with a belt, because it adds a bit of shape to the flowiness. (I am between a Medium and a Large, and ordered Large) The belt is removable, so one could alternate with a sash or leather belt, if desired.
The lightness of the fabric contributes to the airy, feminine feeling. I just feel pretty in it! I chose to wear it over a cami, which peaks through at the neckline, so I felt comfortable wearing it to work (I am a manager in a business casual environment, and often travel to be with customers), but bring a suede jacket for more formal needs, or if it gets cool.
I appreciate the wash and wear promise (have not tested that yet!) with a silky feeling garment.

Fabulous top

Ruffle Neck Blouse
The ratings are confusing since about half loved it and half didn't. Even the one who described it as so lovely ends up saying she's returning it. I'm having a hard time deciding to buy or not. I got another ruffle neck tee and love it; washes beautifully and unpacks ready to wear.

Poorly Executed
Looked so pretty in picture I ordered 2 colors, both of which were beautiful. The fabric, however, was tissue thin. The tie belt was too thin for the thinness of the fabric and the length of the blouse. Should have been more like a sash. The hem should have been substantial for such thin fabric. The most egregious flaw was the armholes which were cut halfway down to the waist, giving me a weird unsightly pooch of fabric all around the midsection, despite the belt. Not a Kelly winner.

Nice Design But The Fabric Is Inferior
I'm returning this blouse because I don't think it passes the 'durability' test. I would be surprised if it withstood more than one or two washings without falling apart! It's a shame since the style is pretty.

BEAUTIFUL BLOUSE!
I just received it and although it is still too cold here to wear it I have no doubt at all that I will thoroughly enjoy it. Yes, the fabric is thin, almost sheer but don't let that deter you from buying it. It will be fantastic in the warmer weather because of it's light weight.
I got the blue which is rich and dark so all I'll need to do is wear a black bra or a light weight cami. The sizing is exact and the feel is smooth and silky. It will be gorgeous for work as I have to dress in a professional manner but I wouldn't think twice about pairing it with cute capris or jeans for a more casual but pulled together look.
Thank you Clinton for such a refined yet fashionable blouse!

lovely purchase
Beautiful shirt and it covers all of my imperfections. I bought the blue one and it is a nice royal blue and the material feels very soft.
