Judith Ripka Sterling Doublet & Diamonique Ring is rated 2.8 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rich Colorful Purple Faceted Flashes I’ve waited a long while for a big faceted, deep royal purple CZ ring. In different lighting, there’s a world of color going on in here: flashes of purples, some pinks, red and blue. In bright or above lighting, there’s a moon-glow &or spotlight shining out in pinks and sometimes a little peachy-pink too. This is my first purple CZ doublet on mother of pearl, though I’ve got plenty of JRipka greens, blues, ‘blacks’, pinks and whites – all which I adore. This is a keeper too. The mother of pearl underneath the purple CZ gives it a lot of color-play. I’ve got other purple CZs, which offer the purple, red, and blue flashes – just like a purple diamond would, and more such rainbow flashes than Amethysts are able to offer. I once saw a large purple sapphire of the highest quality (and price) that looked like no amethyst I’d ever seen before (or since) – and every royal purple CZ takes me back to that fantastic purple colored diamond look. The ring setting itself is unusual and lovely, though the accent CZs around the purple doublet stone seem far more subtle in person than in the pics/vid. Still, there’s texture and sparkle there, while smaller than I expected. The main event is the faceted purple center-piece, which I can’t take my eyes off. YUM! Thanks for bringing this royal sparkler, Judith (& the Q), and please bring more BIG purple stones, as well as RED, in your big&bold gorgeous ring designs. I’m a long-time fan (call me a Ripkanista – it fits!), with hundreds of your rings (& more), in so many colors and clears. Hubby can’t believe I just got another one! Your wearable art is just too tempting to pass up, too oftentimes! Oh, and, I get SO many compliments on your rings – people think I’m loaded, until I send them to the Q for their own jewels too.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Stone looks cloudy I purchased this ring in purple and the doublet makes the ring look as though there's a cloudy film on the stone - like a foggy mirror. I kept wanting to wipe it clean, but, of course, the stone never lost that filmy look. Had to return.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Once again.. It's a beautiful ring but it doesn't fit. This time my size fits too big, it spins on my finger. The last Ripka ring I bought in my size was too small and was a tight fit. I'm tired of buying her rings that do not fit properly. I'm very disappointed. I know I could take it to a jeweler and get it sized but for this price, I shouldn't have to do that. I think I may be done buying Ripka rings. At least with her necklaces and earrings there is no size to worry about.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Top heavy I just received this ring in the pink size 6. I love the look but the top is heavy and the band is too thin to support the ring from rocking back and forth on finger. It needed more sliver on the band to counter weight the top of ring. Yet another disappointment in this designer's items. Did anyone put this ring on to see how it performed before bringing it to QVC? Did QVC quality control check it out before giving approval? It's a pretty design so I gave it two stars for that but it needs to be counter balanced. Yet another return for quality/design/size issues.
