Exquisite!
This little pin is delightful!
The stones are very fine, and beautifully well set.
It is light in weight which allows it to be worn on a knit sweater.

BUYER BEWARE
This had been on my wish list a long time. I finally bought it.Got it today and then.... I opened the box and dug my way through piles of packing and plastic.Finally I had it in my hands. As I picked it up to open it the darn thing was broken. Very poor quality from Judith Ripka. It's not worth a penny if it's broken so back it goes. Too bad I wanted it to secure toggle bracelets from this line with this beautiful pin. Now back to the old fashioned mass produced safety pins that cost less thn a penny and do work.

TRUE BLUE SAPPHIRES~
Not only has this turned out to be a "grab & go" piece, but it never fails to get attention. Have hung many charms from it, and used to lengthen necklaces as well. Never fails to be the small surprise that will complete an outfit, simple, elegant, lovely!

Broke off
I received this pin and it was very difficult to open. When I tried to open it, the catch broke off. I am suprised at the shoddy workmanship being that it is a Judith Ripka design. I ordered some earrings and I hope they are not poorly made like this piece.

Real sapphires are blue and nice diamonique with sterling silver in jr design can't be better ;).. I have about 20 jr items.. This one I got to for a reason to clasp my gaggle bracelets so they will not fall off my wrist.. It works for all my gaggle bracelets in a decorative way.. Plus beside the bracelets it's nice on a bottom of the short skirt or on a side of a tee shirt looks cute.. Safety pin also like a good luck or similar to evil eye ( in Russia , I am from it so I know ) .. Just a nice item for a ill over $100 that be used so many ways,, thanks jr!!

Keeping, but
This is a nice item for a collector and I really like the IDEA of JR's safety pins as jewelry. I'm a bit suspicious of the one I received because - although it had been waitlisted for a bit , and it's still waitlisted - I suddenly got one. Mine seems a little "bent." It may be my imagination, but I wonder if I got someone's return. It functions and it sparkles like new and I plan to wear it with certain things in certain ways, so I guess it's okay and I'll keep it. At least this one has real sapphires. Again, as a collector, I would hate to miss out on this item. I got JR's earlier safety pin and have been hoping she would do another that would be extra special...Sigh, still waiting....
